I agree...episode 2 wasnt a BAD movie..but all the CG in the world cant make a good film..sorry. I prefer a plot...and not trendy one liners.

going to see it tonight, but i have little faith in it... episode 1 was donkey doo, and i'm nervous that CLONES might be more of the same... all the digital effects in the world can't hide the smell of poo....

if you go in to star wars with thw impression that its gonna have a life changing plot, and shakesperian dialog then of course your not gonna like it as much. Thats why i love star wars, it's just pure fun and fantasty.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
Ugh... I am sooooooOOOooooo sick of the hype already......
so on that note...there is a digital theater right by my office...and one by my house...so I am going to go see in the way it was shot...in the Sony / Boeing Digital form .... From what I have heard and read.... the 2nd generation dub from digital to film is bad...and very muddy...so I will stick with the fist generation Digital version.:)

Here is a link on the New Boeing digital projector they just installed down the street from me:

The regular fim I saw was crisp and clear. Not as clear as a DVD but good for a movie.

MY new favorite character is Count Dooku. Christopher Lee is absoultly fantastic in this role. He is a thinking bad guy. Great with a saber and intelegent too. Darth Maul was just all muscle.

I saw it last night and enjoyed it. With reference to the print transfer: the one I saw was clear, but obviously not from a film negative original. The digital image was ... well, different. Not at all bad in any way, just different. The color saturation was the most noticeable difference. It was remarkably good looking in that this was, after all, one of the first movies shot completely digitally. I imagine in a few years we'll all be hard put to tell the difference. But we should get used to it; studios want to go digital. A film print costs $1500-2000 per copy, is generally on 6+ reels weighing 60+ pounds. A digital "print" would be - a DVD! Or even a satellite download. The only thing holding distributers and theaters back is the $150,000 per theater cost for digital projection equipment.

Just saw it, 4 stars of course!

Of course it wasn't better than 4, 5, and 6, it's my 4th favorite.........

I brought my two friends, their like me, but despise anything Star Wars................so I got ragged on the whole way home because I was clapping like a mad man at numerous parts of the film.........

Being a HUGE Bobba Fett FAN, the film made my day........

Scaramanga was great as Count Dooku, I always enjoy seeing him in any film!!!

I saw it today with some friends. It's a little long, and the love scenes are WAY too long and boring. Anakin is nothing but a spoiled teenager with mommy issues, hardly worthy of Vader's cape. But the scenes with Yoda and 3PO at the end are worth the wait. I don't think I'll see it again until it comes out on DVD, tho.

Personally, I'm reallynot into the whole Star Wars thing, but I might see it tomorow. For me, it'll me long and boring, (hopefully no one'll take offence to this, heh) but my teacher wants me to go with her so she'll have someone to talk to (She doesn't like it mch either, lol)...But, hey...I'll get out of my classes for the day, since we'd go to an 11:00 showing of it, lol

The love connection was way too drawn out...and the plot was thin at best..

I DO have to agree with you. Having her in the movie is one of the reasons I would go see the movie in the first place. BUT...I am also getting a little tired of the hype. I haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm a little early in stating my opinion, but I feel even after seeing Episode II I will still like Spiderman better. I'm looking forward to its sequel; when I saw Episode I, I kindof figured I had to see the next one just because it was a trilogy, not because I was dieing to see it. Besides, Kirsten Dunst with that red hair?
