I will be out there on my first trip to DL.......and i'm a bit concerned that this will all be going on the weekend i am there!

I'm concerned about the crowds really......argh i should have planned my trip for the week before!!

Oh well........


So i will be in the thick of it all....but not actually in the Park.

Figment, the crowds at DL will be huge on Saturday - BUT most people won't be on rides - so you may be in luck! If you can stand getting there at 6:00 AM you should get a ton done! Also, when the stars start arriving the lines should be very low.
Other then Saturday, it should be like any other weekend.:)

Beware the crowds!! So many people are coming out of state for the premiere! However, since most will be sitting on Main Street all day, you might be ok with the rides. Check out Pirates Lair if it opens when you're there!! It sounds neat!

If you're going to the parks on Saturday, I would choose this days as your DCA day, stay clear of DL if possible!

Or, you can come sit on the red carpet all day with us and see Orlando and of course Johnny! :slurp:

:lol: I feel like such a pessimist!

I agree about going early, hit the big things then. Also, you might get lucky at around 4. The stars start walking the carpet at 4:30. Once people see them, they'll probably put their attention into meeting them.

One last warning: From New Orleans Sqare to Critter Country, the bleachers are set up for the premiere. They have set up one way traffic and it can get pretty crowded and messy around there.

Oh! And check out the Submarine lagoon! The walls came down today! It looks amazing! :sohappy:

Who knows how the day will end up. Just go and enjoy yourself! :)
