The line is generally disproportionately long, and the ride up and down in the elevators can be uncomfortable, especially if one breaks down and they try to shove everyone on one.I've been to WDW six times, yet have never been on or even considered Astro Orbiter. I don't really here anyone ever talk aboutit. How is the ride? Is it a must see on my next trip?
It's like Dumbo, but higher up, faster and rockets are slightly tilted to the side giving a much more thrilling ride. Also after a few minutes the centrifugal forces really kick in, making it feel like you are about to get thrown out the side of the rocket which is either fun and thrilling or painful and scary, however you see it lol
Painful and scary. Always painful and scary. It's like Dumbo, but higher up, faster and rockets are slightly tilted to the side giving a much more thrilling ride. I cannot stand heights but took my nephew on it years ago and I remember that feeling of falling out, lol.We love it! It has more thrill than one would think. Going up and down gives you the feeling that you might fall out. Great views, especially at night. It is definitely something you try at least once.
