ASMusic Room Question

Are all rooms in the Calypso buildings preferred rooms? If so, what would be the next best section to request for (a) theme for kids and (b) proximity to Melody Hall?

We couldn't get a preferred room, and one of the kids has a medical condition with one of her feet.

The next closest buildings are the Jazz buildings.

Try to stay in Jazz. I absolutely love the theming in that area. They have this beautiful courtyard with a fountain by the buildings, it is nice to sit and listen to the water.

Jazz is I believe the only section I have ever stayed at while at that resort. Its themed nice and a short work up front.

The past two sept we have stayed at the Jazz... I absolutly love this building... just close enough to the pool, but not right on top of it so you hear everyone at night when you are trying to relax, but still close to Melody Hall.

We were on the pool side of Calypsso in April and it was a bit loud. It was nice to be that close to the main building though. Maybe jazz would be the better bet.

we stayed in the family suite in calypso building right smack next to melody hall. i loved it there. i loved looking at all the people and the noise doesn't bother me, our house is right at an intersection.:wave:

I am staying at ASMu next week and I requested to stay at either of those 2 buildings...my hubby has a bum knee so hopefully we will get that. My nephew wants to stay in the rock section but that is kinda far.

The Family Suites are split equally between Calypso and Jazz. About half of the "rooms" in each building were converted over to the suites.
