Asking for specific ticket designs

I was wondering when my family & I purchase new WDW tickets this August at Downtown Disney Guest Relations, is it possible to ask them for a specific ticket design? For example if I asked for the Soarin design would they be able to get that for me, or is it all at random at what kind of tickets we get?

I'm pretty sure it's random. But as long as you have at least four people in your group, you're bound to get one of each.

Haven't heard fo anyone doing that, but like with anything else at Disney, it doesn't hurt to ask.

It wouldn't hurt to ask and depending on the CM, maybe you'd get a favour. But it kind of looks like the tickets are on a roll and they just randomly get printed out. I'm lucky; my AP has Soarin' on it (my mom's has Cinderellabration).

They are all on a role in specific order, however the order that they put your names in the computer is not always the way that they will print out. But if you ask them to 99% of the time they will be more than happy to indulge your request. It just takes time cause if the last ticket that printed was the design you wanted, they have to reissue your ticket 4 more times to get the design you want. So if your willing to wait for a specific ticket most of the time they will be more than happy to oblige.

Mine has Soarin' too.

Though I would have preferred AK.

Just ask any Guest Relations... they should be able to do it

Yeah, they have a stack of them and i'm sure they could just rearrange the order of them to get you the pass design that you want

The tickets are on a roll. They would just have to print it 3 or 4 more times to get the one you'd like.

they'll do it. Every time I have to get an AP reprint cause either I lost the ticket or it was demagnetized, I end up getting Cinderellabration. I simply ask for a different design, and they give me another one without fail.

Right now I have Everest on my ticket.

I got lucky and got Soarin' on my AP this year. I had Minnie all last year :/ but I really don't give a crap, it's just a ticket.
