It took less than ten minutes of sitting on the patio for someone to walk by and start talking to Edith amd asking her if she wanted to get pet?!??? Her harness with large red and black patches that say "service k9" "do not pet" and which are CLEARLY visible meant nothing to the lady.

I simply said. "Ma'am" in a loud tone to get her attention and then shook my head "no". She acted surprised and walked away.

But the room ready text came right after thay so off we went!

These new rooms at Boardwalk Inn (not the dvc rooms) are absolutely awesome! I love them!

The room looks very nice, except the coffee machine, I never liked Keurig. Much prefer Nespresso.
Any meet up plans this trip? I know you, me and many others don't care for the term Magicians, what about Friends of Walt?

No meet ups planned (aside from Zelda). @Tuvalu l and @lostpro9het both left yesterday. They left me in the trenches taking grenades! Jk.

Quick side rant in regards to theme in the rooms.

It annoys the daylights out of me when people refer to any mickey mouse image as a "hidden mickey". It's mostly the vloggers I see doing it.

This is NOT a hidden mickey IMO. It's just mickey.

Above is an actual hidden mickey. It's cleverly blended into the image as in an effort was taken for it to be "hidden".

I see the vlogger prince dev do it more than anybody. In his eyes, everything that is the shape of mickey is a hidden mickey.

Sent C a quick fit check before we headed out this morning

Edith had taken nap while I showered. She was OUT

But suited and booted once I got dressed

Star Wars Kennel Edith

A quick stop at Baseline. Mandatory.

Crowds are light/medium. Weather is tolerable. Edith got a good report card for behavior in the Star Tours kennel.

Edith (much like Zelda) refuses to look at the camera. Putting her ears up is not happening either

I'm pretty used to it. But it never ceases to amaze how an adult who can read absolutely ignores the patches. But especially at Disney World. You should automatically know if you see a dog it s a service dog smh. Even the fake ones lol.

That is one thing I heard a lot with Zelda and already twice with Edith is people saying "that's a REAL service dog".

The security dog at International Gateway (labrador) lost his mind when we walked past. It was a male dog and I joked with the officer that he couldn't help himself when he saw a pretty girl. We had a good laugh.

You need a shirt when you have her out… “Please, don’t pet my Fur Missile.”

She’s gorgeous.

My patio is right next to the port car shay (I don't know how to spell it)

And I can see people loading up their bags and heading out and people arriving and unloading. It's a whole bag of mixed emotions "view" from this room

We had a reservation for MMRR. Noticed the carpet was struggling

The Great Movie Ride never had these problems! Well, they probly did you just couldn't see it

The Great @Tuvalu coined the term Forum Friends so I think we should stick with that. She is the queen of trip reports after all and I'm hoping to one day get one of her coveted cards.

Day 2 (tuesday) continued

After MMRR Edith enjoyed the cool floor while I had an Octoberfest at Tune In Lounge.

Then it was more kennel life at RnR

If your wondering, The kennel room is to the left when you exit the ride.

Behind this door

It's a hallway that connects to another door that opens up where the CM that assigns what row you sit in at the end of the queue. Which is where I bring her into the kennel before getting on the ride.

Did we stop at Pandora on the way out?? Of course we did.

I got C the Dumbo charm they just released. Her mom's favorite character was Dumbo and I know she'll love it. She doesn't read my trip reports so don't worry. And Mom (who does read these), don't spill the beans to her!!

We headed back to the room after Pandora.

We passed this Friendship

I have never seen this one (color) before.

Edith and I were both pretty tired and it was nap time once we got back to the room
