After we finish the World Showcase transport brainstorm

I think we have enough ideas. I say we move on to today around noon EST.

Alright, lets begin Day 2: An Out of the Box World Showcase pavilion, and GO!

Fictional country like Wakanda or Latveria (rights issues aside).

Noncountry Pavilion like a UN or International Courtyard area. Like a shared space that could incorporate extra countries too.

These are my ideas for unconventional world showcase pavilions. I remember someone else mentioned Antarctica too

All of those could work, except for maybe Wakanda. It feels a tiny bit off to have a fake country right next to 11 real ones.

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of a fake country, but I was trying to think of uncoventional stuff and I remembered seeing that suggested by someone in the New and Rumors side.

I would suggest going back to my idea for Antarctica, but then I remembered the penguin ride at SeaWorld, so there goes all the potential for Antarctica.

That was a fun idea! I don't know exactly where it would have went - but I wouldn't call it the UN I'd make it a Disneyfied transition from FW into WS -- almost like it's a small world style...it could be an ever rotating pavilion all-encompassing from places around the world...Epcot is famous for its festivals, so this would essentially be a way for them to sell food/merchandise, etc from a rotating panel of nations throughout the year.

It would obviously need more than a day to flesh out - but I think it has potential.

As for this project though - I'd go out of the box to multiple island nations like the Caribbean or South Pacific

Besides probably using Moana nope, maybe it can be designed like Bora Bora? So you're walking in bridges and cabanas? And there's water underneath?

I like your thinking! Maybe there can be a cabana pop-up stand that sells merchandise, and a big cabana with a restaurant underneath.

How about this: There's a tiny little island off the pavilion (there's a viewing deck) and the island hosts a Moana show similar to Fantasmic, but on a smaller scale. It can have Moana and Maui just being on the island singing songs or something, and at the end Moana gets on her boat and sails around the pavilion.

I like that! Definitely sounds unique and fun! Maybe we can get some myths/stories from the islands so it isn't a mother Frozen style inclusion?

I think this is a very solid idea - shall we catalog this and move onto Day 3?
