Does anybody know when FL will be closing for construction and refurbishments?

The existing FL won't be closing. This is an expansion, not a refurbishment. The only major attraction that looks like it will have to close is Dumbo...and that is only because it is moving across the park. I am sure existing FL areas might see some extra walls (including the eventual castle walls) but that sounds like it is going to be it. :shrug:

I wonder if they will build a new Dumbo and open it while they remove the old one and re construct it in it's new location. This way, Dumbo would never actually be closed.

I wonder if Ariel's Adventure will be anything like the ride that they show on The Little Mermaid DVD. The DVD says that you can experience the theme park ride that was almost built. The ride they show is a dark ride and looks like it would be awesome. The ride can be found on The Games & Activities part of the DVD.

Nope, this is a new design. The one on the DVD was originally planned for DLP and was on the scale of PPF or SWSA. The new one is on a much grander scale (think HM). :wave:

I don't know. The sign on the concept art just says Ariel's Adventures. AUA would make sense though. Damn these Disney internet acronyms! Slightly OT, but more than once in the last week or so I have had to catch myself speaking in acronyms to others. I can't say I have ever had that happen before. :lol:

Oh...and I have been out and about all day Evan. I guess calling in dead to work was a good idea. I'm still sick but at least I have come out of lurkerdom for a bit. :shrug: :lol:
