Trip Report Are you worn out yet?? March 2018 **COMPLETED**

Guess who's back, back, back... back again... Becca's back... tell a friend...

Hello friends!! I am back from yet another amazing trip to my favorite place. With my pharmacology exam out of the way, (I just took it an hour ago... that's dedication to the forums right there ) I am ready to share with you lovely humans my trip from March 18th - 23rd!

If you don't know me, my name is Rebecca/Becca. I'm about to be 20 years old (April 3rd!!) and I live in Buffalo, New York! I'm a nursing major and if you haven't read my last trip report, you should!! It's right HERE - also there's a bit of information about this trip as well!

Who: Myself and my beautiful grandma, Joan, aka GJ

Where: Wilderness Lodge!

Why?: Obviously why not... but mostly because it was my spring break and I needed a "relaxing" vacation

We had such an awesome time & I can't wait to share it with all of you!!

So without further explanation.. on with the show!

We headed to Na'vi River Journey first and had a 5 minute wait.

Wishing I was here today instead of working & then having to study all night

I do really love this ride even at the length that it's at. It warms my soul. I'm so cheesy. I don't care

We explored just a little bit - we had places to be!

Over to Africa we went...

Headed over to Asia...

Our destination: an encounter with the Yeti

How do people not love AK!?!? All the details are quintessential Disney!! I wish they'd let me live here...

I'd say we had fun

We decided we needed a coffee/cupcake break so thats exactly what we did!

GJ also got a regular croissant. My cupcake was good except I wish it was chocolate & that the filling on the inside wasn't so ... weird. It was kinda blueberry but I also couldn't really tell. It wasn't that amazing. It did give me a really great sugar high LOL

Back into Africa..

Then I wanted to find this sign that I see on everyone's instagram! And I indeed found it

I sent it to my mom & she told me I should take a picture with it. How sweet is she

It was time for a Safari! While we were waiting I saw the vloggers from Double Take Disney, or Tee and Ess (Tracey/Stephanie) if anyone knows who they are! I didn't say hi because I felt a little weird but it was still really cool to see them.

Lots of active animals today! I tried to not take a million pictures though

It was a quick bathroom break & then onwards!

Time for my absolute favorite ride...

GJ said she really liked it! She gets motion sickness so I could tell it bothered her just a little but not much. She said she didn't close her eyes!

Time for a quick snack break!

Couldn't believe this was my first mickey bar of the trip!!

We people watched for a little and they headed back to Africa to see FoTLK.

We were in the giraffe section!

As always the show was awesome. I really love seeing it - I can remember when it was in Camp Minnie-Mickey, I was really young when we started coming to Disney but I remember seeing Timon and being able to meet characters back there!

Feeling famished, we headed over to Pizzafari for some lunch.

I AM SO HAPPY THEY BROUGHT THESE KIND OF PIZZAS BACK!!! Omg!!!!!!! The flatbreads weren't cutting it for me. I love you, Disney pizza!

We finished eating & headed into some stores. I bought a 20th anniversary ornament and maybe something else (I don't remember!)

These are so cute!

We hit up Dinosaur with our last FP.

We were ready to do our last attraction before we headed out!

It really is tough to be a bug!

We headed out, packed a little and took a small nap. We came back to AK about 5-6pm!

I got this pressed quarter at the bus stop, how cute

Had a little sun burn but we were going strong!

I made another Everest FP so we headed back there once we got in

As you can see from my goosebumps it was freakin' COLD!!

Nothin' like windblown hair LOL

I made a FP for Dinosaur, so off we went!

After this we headed to Restarauntosaurus and grabbed some dinner. I just had fries and GJ got baked potato soup! We wanted the turtle brownies but apparently they were sold out... Guess I'll have 2 next time!!!

It was getting pretty cold out so GJ wanted to get another hoodie to wear.

She found one in here and we went to go look at Pandora at night!

I got us a FP for Rivers of Light and so we walked over to the entrance to grab a seat before the show started.

Thursday finished up:

We got back to the room and settled down for one last sleep in our Wilderness beds!

Friday March 23rd - Last morning
We got up really early, like 6am early... We headed to the airline check in and left our carryons with Bell Services. We then headed to MK to try and make a 7am opening, but it was like 7:40 when we got there (which was fine)

Our first destination was breakfast - I had made a reservation the night before for Be Our Guest!

Obviously we preordered

Last morning con't:

We sat in the ballroom which is my favorite room!

Got my usual & GJ got the Feast a la Gaston, which is exactly what Daniel got when we came

We took our time eating, got a hot chocolate to go and headed out!
I used my FP for Space Mountain, GJ did not use hers.

Next up it was time for some people movin'

Some Shirley Status for our last time
Then we headed into Fantasyland!

MK Con't:
We headed to go under the sea!

Then it was over to Haunted Mansion for our FP!

Obviously I had to take 1000 pictures here first

GJ, our ghost, and I then went to go meet Tigger & Pooh since Tigger is GJ's favorite!

GJ got her hat signed & we went on our way! She was really happy so I'm glad we stopped

We headed through the hub to our last FP of the trip

Over to Adventureland where our adventure awaited us!

We decided on grabbing one last snack before heading out.

Okay maybe 2 snacks LOL

GJ got a scoop of vanilla on a cone.

With that we headed out...

Last day:
We opted for the boat back to WL

It was a beautiful day & I was so sad to leave it

We grabbed our bags from Bell Services and waited a little before having to board the Tragical Express.

We made it to MCO fine but security was INSANE!! They announced no one had to take their shoes off or take anything out of their bags because it was so nuts in there.

An uneventful flight back (except for some studying) and our trip was over

We truly had the most magical time & I cannot wait to be back in just 37 days. It's really bittersweet because after this trip I won't be back for an entire year

Although next time I can use my new luggage I got for my birthday

Ah forget about work So sad your TR is over! It was so much fun to read! And your going to have to tell me what your usual is for breakfast at Be Our Guest. Whatever it is, it looked sooo freaking good! Were those bananas I spotted?

So glad that you and your grandma had a great time! It warms my heart that you get to go on trips like these with her. I'm sure you don't, but don't ever take the time that y'all spend together for granted. I love spending time with my grandparents, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

At least the end of the semester is near! Wednesday is my last day of classes before exams (woohoo!) What are your dates for May?!

Your grandma is the best! She seems like so much fun and I love that she was up for riding almost anything. I couldn't get my grandma to ride any of the roller coasters even if her life depended on it.

Thank you!! It's the croissant donut with chocolate sauce and bananas! I don't really like bananas but it tastes really good!
I still have so much time left in this semester so lucky you for being done soon! We end the 2nd week of May and I have 1 final on the 15th.
I'll be down in May from the 30th-June 3rd
