Trip Report Are you worn out yet?? March 2018 **COMPLETED**

Guess who's back, back, back... back again... Becca's back... tell a friend...

Hello friends!! I am back from yet another amazing trip to my favorite place. With my pharmacology exam out of the way, (I just took it an hour ago... that's dedication to the forums right there ) I am ready to share with you lovely humans my trip from March 18th - 23rd!

If you don't know me, my name is Rebecca/Becca. I'm about to be 20 years old (April 3rd!!) and I live in Buffalo, New York! I'm a nursing major and if you haven't read my last trip report, you should!! It's right HERE - also there's a bit of information about this trip as well!

Who: Myself and my beautiful grandma, Joan, aka GJ

Where: Wilderness Lodge!

Why?: Obviously why not... but mostly because it was my spring break and I needed a "relaxing" vacation

We had such an awesome time & I can't wait to share it with all of you!!

So without further explanation.. on with the show!

I just hate small children who have parents that do not discipline them, which you can find anywhere

I feel the same way about kids that aren't disciplined. Even my 7 year old has started to complain when we go places and there are unruly children. As I always say, I didn't raise a brat at home, and I don't take one out in public.

MK con't:
After BTM, we decided to take a small rest on the train!

We disembarked at FL. When we got off, we noticed there were people playing some Disney tunes!

I love seeing these guys! They're so good at what they do!

We also looked in Big Top Souvenirs but did not buy anything!

Next, we decided that it was snack time!

If you haven't had one of these yet, you NEED TO!! Omg... they are SO flippin' good!

We snacked and sat by the tea cups!

Then it was time for our 7DMT FP, which is another favorite of GJ's (not that I don't like it or anything, it's just not in my top 5 )

I'm so glad that they notice it, especially so young!! I remember my mom always pointing out the "bad" kids to use as an example of what not to do I know I'm not a mother but some parents refuse to put down their phone/tablet/etc. just to give their children some attention, it's really sad!

I'd say about 20 minutes, from boat launch to getting off!

That's awesome that you were able to go with your grandmother. Some of my best memories are being with my grandmother at Disney.

Finally caught up, and loving your report! GJ is adorable and I love that you went with her. Both of my grandmothers were "older" when I was born and I could have never taken a trip like this with them, so I am so glad to see you cherishing this opportunity!

In all honesty... I don't love MK that much!! Please don't kill me!! I just hate small children who have parents that do not discipline them, which you can find anywhere

In theory, I love the MK. Love the themed lands, love the sheer number of rides, love walking down Main Street and seeing the Castle in the distance...

But in practice, I can't stand it for more than a few hours. It's just WAY. TOO. CROWDED. And full of children (and adults!) behaving poorly.

I totally agree about MK! I love the rides, themes, etc. but it is so CROWDED!! I think obviously day-trip people have a lot to do with this.
I'm sorry you never got to take a trip with your grandmothers, I feel really blessed to be able to do this with mine!

Wednesday con't:

After we used our FP, we decided it was time for a foot-resting attraction.

The crowds this day were crazy! I was so happy we came the previous night and got to do all the rides we wanted to.

Always a great show, but I wish they would update it soon!! I want to have a Tangled section!!

From there, we crossed over through the Castle/hub and stopped quickly for a little photoshoot.

Next was our Splash Mt. FP!

After our dive on Splash, we decided it was time for some food!

So we headed over to Pinocchio's

2 cheese flatbreads... can you see where I get my plain-ness from?

After we were full, we had another FP to head Under Da Sea so we headed that way

This will always remind me of @prfctlyximprct

A few clams down from us, some woman kept taking pictures with flash. Seriously I need to know how good those actually turn out. She was taking pictures of EVERYTHING!! When are you ever going to look back on that! I hate that LOL

Out we went for our afternoon break!

We napped and hung out for a while!

After about 2 hours we decided to head back out.

I had made a FP but it wasn't quite ready so we decided to take the monorail around!

Back to MK we went!

We decided to walk through the castle since we hadn't done that this trip

This is probably my favorite part of MK. I wanted to show Daniel when him & I came but it was closed

Over to Dumbo for our FP!

Note the hoods. It was COLD!!!!

I love the way this ride looks when it starts to get dark!

I have an exam this week so I've been studying (hence the small absence) but I hope to finish this up next weekend!!

Hello, Big Thunder!

It was definitely the wildest ride in the wilderness, as usual

We decided that ice cream was necessary...

Can I have one of these right now?? Please ????

We settled for a side view because there was a railing GJ could lean against. Not my favorite view but all was well, or so I thought.

As soon as HEA started some girl Facetimed her family and kept the volume up really loud. I could not believe how inconsiderate that was. I'm still mad!!

However, there was a couple next to us who was clearly pregnant and they had just done a gender reveal with balloons and they were going to have a baby boy! So cute

We headed into Tomorrowland after HEA was over!

Thursday March 22nd - Animal Kingdom
We woke up pretty early so we could be at AK by park opening (8am). We made it around 8:04, pretty good timing but not there for opening... oh well... I have another chance next month

I kept meaning to grab the totem pole magnet they had in the gift shop but I forgot! Oh well...

Soon we were here!! My favorite Disney park so far.

Seriously, Pandora is my new favorite place. I can't get over it. I wish I could get married there but I don't think Daniel will spring for that LOL
