What does D23 mean?

"D" stands for Disney, and "23" represents 1923, the year that Walt Disney arrived in California and founded what was to ultimately become The Walt Disney Company.

Since it's almost the same price as just a year of the magazine alone, it may be worth it...(if you look at it 'glass half-full', like me...)

:snore: although a yawn might be more appropriate.

For $75, I can buy pretty much all the books out there on Disney and whatever information I can't get, I can just come to Internet forums to find.

"Go backstage, behind closed doors, and get the inside scoop, while experiencing the nostalgia, adventure and fantasy of Disney as never before" I think we all pretty my much know that Disney never shows its hand and any "backstage" info they are going to reveal will be PR fluff. Not to mention that just about any "special information" Disney ever reveals is stuff we've read here weeks, if not months ago.

This is foolishness.

With these prices, it's gone. Do they even KNOW about the economy?

Maybe this is how they're going to fund future refurbs...they know it's us that want them, so they're going to make us 'earn' them by contributing and purchasing pens for $800+ dollars...I think that would buy at least a couple of gallons of some new paint for Space Mountain...
