Are they removing Planet Hollywood?

PH was one of our first Disney restaurants to try back in 2006. I remember eating mahi mahi and it was pretty good. I'd like to try T Rex, too bad it's not on the dining plan.
T-Rex is on the dining plan. One TS credit for lunch or dinner. They do have some more expensive items that take more then one credit.

I hope not! I know it's over priced and the food is crappy, i just think the memorabilia in there is awesome! Dorthoy's dress, Titanic costumes, Nightmare before christmas stuff.... It's all awesome. Unless they could move it all to an attraction in MGM studios...*Hint hint* :D

Do they still have the Governator, I mean, the Terminator wax statue there?

I was there the week it opened. Saw Rosanne Barr's Limo drive by. My sister and I got Planet Hollywood Orlando Varsity Jackets. Looking back at it. the place used to be pretty cool. now it's just a gimmick that is past it's time. It could go to bring in some fresh businesses.

I believe I read somewhere that it is going to be closed and turned into something called The Observatory...don't know if that is a restaurant or attraction.

Cannot recall if it was my '98 or '02 trip, but as part of the AAA vacation package I bought, I was given a voucher for a free t-shirt from PH. I had the globe building on it, along with Mickey and said Walt Disney World. I think I still have it somewhere.

I've been to the Planet Hollywood in DTD as well in NYC about 10 years ago and I thought they were really cool. And the food was pretty good. Haven't been since then and really have no desire to. The reviews I hear are not that great. Too bad they can't bring a Hard Rock Cafe in. We eat at the one in Boston all the time and it's really good.

Ive never eaten at the one at Dtd but I did eat at the Nyc location 15 years ago . It was awful and the waitress was just plain old rude and pushy! Put me off to the point that od never try that place again!!

For a long time they quit serving lunch but I was there 2 weeks ago and they were open for lunch. Had great food, great service and the prices were comparable to most places on Disney property. Maybe they cleaned house and started over again.
