Are they going to bother fixing the Illuminations globe at this point?

Wow - I completely disagree with you. I remember the first time I saw it, and how my jaw dropped when I realized it wasn't just leds but real video appearing on the continents. An amazing piece of hardware, and an important part of the show.

It might be amazing in another venue or on its own, but it is way too small and not impactful enough for a show like Illuminations. I honestly think the entire thing was a mistake and should have never been approved.

We were at Epcot on October 20 and the globe did not open at the end (same as our June trip). I was quite disappointed as I think that effect really helps the end of the show.

I was there on 18 October and it opened as expected.
