Are the Body Wars simulators still there in WoL?

I heard the Body Wars simulators were removed some time ago from WoL and salvaged for a future HKDL Star Tours. Does anyone know if this is true or what actually has happened to the simulators.

I was thinking one simulator could be reused for Monorail training. Removing the existing theater, adding a deck and a Monorail cab with surround video for safe training of every situation could be instructed here. Trainees would have to PASS the simulator before live training and testing. Just a cool thought.

The BW simulators were all there into early this year and I doubt very much they were removed.

None were taken out for Star Tours in HKDL because Disney has no intention of adding the attraction there.

I can't say that I truly miss BW beacuse it always made me woozy. But I do miss Buzzy and CC! When I used to visit as a kid, I had the hots for the girl from that movie.

CC was great...Always felt so "Disney" and "EPCOT" to me. It's missed.

Yeah, I think it could certainly be saved. It was such a cool show. It needed updating though, the late 80's clothes and the Ernest P. Worrell reference were pretty stale after 15+ years.

The sims are still intact (you`d know if they were removed) but are in a bit of a mess now.

Buzzy is gathering dust.

Buzzy is still sitting up there in his chair peering down at the entrance doors to the theatre waiting for guests to enter. The queue and exit queue for Body Wars is being used for training areas.

JII will probably happen first. However, I'd say its a toss up between UoE and WoL (who can get a sponsor first?) Pity, because life and health and the human body are great topics for Epcot and for a pavilion... such a shame WoL left to rot instead of given what it should have gotten: a complete and thorough overhaul and update.

Well if that were true then there would be maintenance workers all around that pavillion and there are none. The only people in the building on a day-to-day basis are the ones in the offices in the VIP area. Other than that it's Tumble Weed City.

I said "were". Rumors about said testing were going round a few years ago
