I have lived in Florida all my life and quite ironically the best seafood I have ever had was in Denver.

I went to vancouver recently and thought I would find great seafood everywhere. Turns out the best piece of fish I ever had was at an italian place.

Would you like to turn this into a DDP Bashfest thread?:)

The kid friendly part is just a small faction of the above. Ultimately, they've just dumbed down dining all over the place ... mostly because it is cheaper to do so, but simple palates have a lot to do with it too.

When you see the vast amount of morbidly obese guests dining on burgers, pizza and chicken fingers, Disney uses that as an excuse to dumb those menus down.

Coral Reef was always a favorite of mine and I eat very little seafood. But I never would have expected them to change to suit my tastes.

Fulton's blows Coral Reef out of the water now.

^^ Ironically, the counter service options have gotten much better over the last three months.

Anyone who's been to the Coral Reef in the past few years will tell you it long ago dropped any pretense of being a seafood locale.

You might find pork chops, chicken, steak, pasta and even salmon on the menu ... but you won't find lobster ... and much from the sea beyond shrimp.

Sharks Underwater Grill at Sea World is much better.

Am I that only person who feels a little weird eating fish with all of those other fish staring at you? :veryconfu

How has counter service improved since November? Just curious, since I was there in December.

Better selections, bigger menus (!), and better quality (two Angus burgers are now available at Pecos Bill's).

Last Saturday at the Studios, I was shocked to see how much the menu has improved in the quick service area near ToT. The servings have gotten bigger, too. Then Sunday at the MK, I finally experienced the latest menu at Pinocchio's, even though it's several months old. The food was surprisingly good, and my chicken salad could have passed for table service if it weren't on a paper plate.

I gave up on most of the table service restaurants because the DDP has reduced all the menus to a one-page list of chicken in sauce, steak in sauce, or a fish-of-the-day in sauce.

The Sunset CS area is really one of my favorites in the parks! I love the taco salad at the Fairfax stand.:slurp:

Have you have the angus burgers yet?
