I know we'll get slammed for this, but my wife and I love the Nescafe coffee that is sold in WDW! We look forward to it! We know it's just instant coffee, but there's just something about it... I guess it just tastes like "vacation".:)

Anyone else with me on this?

To each his own. We all have something we like that the majority of the world hates. Personally, I find Nescafe tolerable at best. If there are any other coffee options available I will take them over Nescafe.

I can only drink the NesCafe if I am drinking it as iced coffee. When I go in the colder months I drink tea for my morning beverage since I find the instant stuff pretty nasty.

Thank you Master Yoda for reminding me of this and CANNOT wait to visit this place! Also, thank you Larry Mondello, for I have past this spot so MANY times and did not stop to "smell the coffee" at this spot, will do next time!

I like the Nescafe but only because I'm at WDW. Outside the parks I never drink it. I love waking up, going to the foodcourt at my resort, sitting down and enjoying my cup of Nescafe. I love to watch the excitment on peoples faces as they prepare to venture out for the day.

Just an FYI

The Nescafe that is at WDW is not instant, like the Nescafe you can buy in the stores.

It is concentrated coffee syrup in a bag. It is mixed at the point of delivery with hot water in order to make a brown liquid that on initial glance bears a passing resemblance to coffee.

I think NesCafe is like Vegemite ... either you love it or you hate it. I personally hate drinking that swill, and only do so as a last resort. :D

I just recently discovered that Ghirardelli in DTD has some real quality coffee/expresso. Iced latte too. I remember a few weeks ago people were talking about how you can't get a good iced latte in WDW. I was there last week and Ghirardelli does it right trust me.

I love the Nescafe, I love to fill up and refillable mug and drink it down while I anticipate the opening of the parks. There is nothing like buying school bread the night before to enjoy with your coffee the next morning :) :)

@ Mickey 777 Ha! yes I love the Ghirardelli Mochas. They are awesome! I am a coffee addict and they serve up a cup better then Starbucks..... no chalky after taste. Try the Mocha!

I cannot get into the Kona coffee ... after having lived in Hawaii for many years it does not taste the same to me. Maybe it is my age :(

:ROFLOL: mmmmm sounds scrumptious!!

I would have to agree that Kona french press is the best we've had at Disney. As dreadful as the Nescafe is. . .hubby and I agree that, in a sick way, we look forward to it cause it means we're back in our favourite place.

Texture...texture...there is no texture in chicory coffee!
There is in campfire chicory. Campfire chicory is made with ground chicory root and egg shells in straight water....no filter. Cowboy/campfire coffee is made the same way and sometimes combined with chicory. You can of course make chicory with a filter and not have the texture but it would then not be campfire chicory.

Absolutely!!! We love Nescafe. Sometimes I even bring a small electric hot pot for water to make coffee from those little Nescafe packets if I'm too lazy to walk to the food court. :ROFLOL:

It is less 'crunchy' if you put a whole egg (broken and mixed up) into the boil. It helps settle out the grounds better than just egg shells. I have done it, and it helps. but then that may just be a Scandanavian thing as well.
