May I ask what people tipped Uber/Lyft for transportation on WDW property?

Depends on the driver and ride, but I usually tip about 20-25% on average. So I think my DW Uber trips were only in the $1-$2 range since they were only $6-$7 rides.
Yep, just don’t use Magic Kingdom as your location. Use TTC, leaned the hard way. It was my Uber drivers first fare and he was hearing impaired. Disney Security got involved and I had to explain because between the language barrier, first fare and hearing impairment it was a MESS
The next rides were perfect
Hotel entrance to Hotel entranceAre they readily available? And where are they allowed to pick you up & drop you off at?

Better yet, use the Contemporary as your location/destination for MK. That's what I did. No problems at all. And it appears that many Uber drivers around WDW are current/former CMs.
We use them so much, starting at the airport. Take them to Uni, Costco, Walmart, DW all over. If the bus is taking too long in the am - get an Uber. Too little time to make it to our dining res. - Uber. Don't feel like waiting in the bus line at night - Uber. Too long to get to Disney Springs - Uber. Back to the airport - Uber. The more we used it, the more we liked it and used it more. It feels like............. freedom.
How does it work in the evening after fireworks? For example at MK, would I have to take a monorail to TTC before requesting Uber to my resort?
What’s the distance from mk to contemporaryAs I previously stated, walk over to the Contemporary and get an Uber from there.

Usually a couple bucks a ride. Except one ride - the same guy that picked us up 3 weeks prior also came to get us from Uni, took us to Costco, Walmart, and to our DW resort. This guy was everywhere! These were all on different days. He was our driver like 40% of our rides - so nice, gave us tips about Orlando, played Disney music for us, loaded and unloaded everything. He ended up picking us up to take us to the airport at the end of our trip (xmas eve), we couldn't believe it. My son put in a $10 tip into the app, and I handed him a $20 and said , "Merry Christmas!". He felt like an old friend by then.May I ask what people tipped Uber/Lyft for transportation on WDW property?

I guess it depends on whether you enjoy driving or not. The cost of parking at your resort (on site) per night plus the cost of the rental might be close to what you are spending on Uber rides. I enjoy not having to drive, or walking to and from a parking lot looking for my car, or getting into a hot car, etc. Even if the cost is higher, it's worth it to me for convenience.I was planning on getting a rental car. Now, I'm thinking that maybe I could utilize Uber instead.
