Wait. What happened? The DIS crew is absolutely ripping Disney a new one right now.
Mainly the Christine McCarthy "portion size" comment, but that sent them into a torrent about how Disney sucks now and everyone should to to Universal instead.Wait. What happened?
Ahhh. Got it.Mainly the Christine McCarthy "portion size" comment, but that sent them into a torrent about how Disney sucks now and everyone should to to Universal instead.
Is it the "Heeeyyyyy buuuuudddddyyyyy" every episode?Super enthused is great. So is resorttv1. Used to like Tim tracker but don’t anymore.

Can't disagree really. Other people's kids are only so entertaining to others and it can wear thin rather. But hey, it's their channel and up to them what they have on it and good luck to them. I think I'm like you though, I don't want to see a kid I've never met feed himself and be told what a genius he is for doing so. Also their park content is days behind the event and the other vloggers output usually, so when it's released I've likely seen it already.he’s become very repetitive and don’t like the shift to focus on the kid.
I take it that you don't have a problem with the all star resort charging $500.00 per night. The Dis mentioned the All Star resort is charging $500.00 per night and is encouraging people to stay at a cheaper hotel and is one of the reasons why they mentioned Universal. I don't know if is a time of the year thing because of the holidays and the Thanksgiving coming and Disney decided to charge that much as a result.Mainly the Christine McCarthy "portion size" comment, but that sent them into a torrent about how Disney sucks now and everyone should to to Universal instead.

$500.00 per night is a big to the Dis youtube channel for a reason. The all-star resorts are value hotels. value hotels are not supposed cost that type of money. The Dis has a point like it or not.
No. That is what the Dis Unplugged podcast said. Pete himself said that he was on the Disney travel agent website.Do you mean Art of Animation instead of All-Star? I just did a quick search for 12/11-12/17 and Art of Animation was in the $540-$600 range for family suites but All-Star was under $200. All-Star doesn't currently show any availability the week of Christmas but the Friday and Saturday before Christmas (12/17 & 12/18) were just under $250/night. Steep, but that's the start of the holiday week.
That was a flat out lie. A standard room at the All Stars maxes out at $250 Christmas week.I take it that you don't have a problem with the all star resort charging $500.00 per night. Why don't you like Tim anymore? Just curious. I had heard things like Disney had banned him or dropped him from part of the blog force, yet I saw him on resorttv1 last night covering the Restaurant 220 posted late October. Invited and comped according to him. So what is the gripe anyway?Super enthused is great. So is resorttv1. Used to like Tim tracker but don’t anymore.
If you search how much does Tim Tracker Make on You Tube you’ll see he does a lot better than you think he does.I work from home, with my little ones. So it's not so bad.
But like I said, different strokes for different folks.
I also did some more digging. It's nearly impossible to figure out what someone is making on YouTube. That three or four dollars per 1,000 views seems to be if the person watches the entire ad. Then there's engagement rate which also effects the payout and engagement rate has a lot of different stats that comprise it. If I had to take a guest based on what I know I would think they're pulling in somewhere between $100k to $250,000 per year.
Disney knows cupcakes are the vloggers’ “squirrel”.Another thing with the Disney vloggers: Even the ones who dare to be critical go right back to hocking Disney parks and merch the next episode.
It's like 100 videos of, "Disney can do no wrong. Let me show you things that you can buy at the parks!"
Then: "Disney added this pay-for feature. I don't know where the parks are heading."
and then it's back to: "I'm back with some more free advertising for Disney. Look at these cupcakes! Aren't they great! Just released today. I tried one. They're fantastic!"
Disney dropped him for about 3 weeks. They know the amount of free press they get from him.Why don't you like Tim anymore? Just curious. I always found him and them clear and positive without being silly about it or looking like a 10 year old in a 30 year old body. He did a very good one, by himself btw, of the 220 Restaurant and previous to that with he and his wife doing resorts. I have heard a lot of people being upset because they bring their young child with them for the vlog and that is something that I just don't understand. What is wrong with them bringing their kid to places like WDW? Don't the rest of us bring our children there on the rides, in the restaurants and so on. Why would it be better to leave him with a babysitter while they spent the day in a theme park. I don't understand the "privacy" part of it, nor the preference of separation as a better decision. It makes no sense to me at all. It's hardly child abuse to bring your child along while pursuing and operating a family business especially if it is centered in a theme park. As far as the minimal bragging, I defy you to point out anyone that never did that thing after their first child. Always the smartest, prettiest and best behaved that was ever introduced to the planet. So the complainers must be people without children because otherwise they are being quite hypocritical.Disney dropped him for about 3 weeks. They know the amount of free press they get from him.
How do we get to set the privacy requirement for THEIR family. What business is it of ours and why would we even think that they don't have the right to include their own child in their own vlog? Who makes up those rules? How are they specifically using their child as a prop anymore then using themselves as a prop as well and isn't that the definition of a vlogger and aren't we all guilty of using our children as a prop in our everyday life? It is what defines us as a parent, with or without a vlog?I mentioned before that I didn't even know who the Tr*ckers until I saw that people were made at them. They finally came up in my YT suggestions, and now I see EXACTLY what people were talking about with their kid and the complete disregard for their privacy. I generally think family vlogging is unethical at its worst and still questionable when it's not--it's one thing to share stuff sometimes because it's a special part of your life, but using your kid as a prop... it's Just Not It.
