Anyone dislike the volggers content?

No worse imo than out of state visitors to the parks .
We’ve all wrestled with the “should you or shouldn’t you” be in the parks this whole time…

I wish I had the right answers but I’m the same as everyone else that I don’t.

if you’re sick…your better wait till it’s gone and then wait some more till you go.

my personal opinion about out of state is if you’re from a state that has CHOSEN to not control the virus…you shouldn’t be traveling to wdw or anywhere else. Stay in your boat…and sink with it. Done suffering fools.

Who slandered him?

the guy posts a video about hcovid sick he was…

a couple days later he’s doing more frivolous park coverage. That’s his thing…but that’s just his thing. Didn’t look good either way…and everyone moves on.

you assume there is a big lag…and there really isn’t anyway to know. Life goes on

nobody rocking any kinda covid has to “get back to the park”…we need not be so spoiled and incapable of learning after damn near 2 years.

The person who said he posted a video "not more than 4 days ago" about having COVID-19. It not only wasn't true (6 days passed between the video and when he was back in the parks), but it also made it seem like he was in the park days after testing positive when the video in question wasn't even posted until after he had already tested negative. So either that person didn't watch the video and made accusations based on false assumptions having only seen the title of the video or did watch the video and intentionally omitted key details. Based on prior posts and subsequent attempts to dodge the issue, I'm assuming it was intentional. Either way, it's irresponsible.

We’re not gonna agree

I can’t assume the worst…you can’t assume the best.

as far as TT goes…the vlog will go on. For as long as it gets eyes.

I certainly don't think you're coming at it from a mean-spirited place. I disagree with your assessment of the risk of him spreading COVID-19 a week after testing negative, but I don't think there's malice behind your stance.

It's not about assuming anything or the fact that he's a vlogger or anything else. It's about general human decency. You don't accuse someone of something without evidence to back it up (and I know that's not you, I'm more referring to the OP). Tim described his story, gave the timeline, everything else in the video. Unless someone has a reason to believe he's lying (based on facts, not just your personal feelings about him), then shut up and let people live their lives.

Honestly, the discourse in this culture has gotten so toxic - people are just aching to take someone down - that they'll make up stuff about people. I try to live my life from a point of view that everyone deserves respect and the benefit of the doubt until they show me that they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt. You can disagree with people on lots of things, but do it respectfully and without ever getting personal.

Now, taking his story at face value - you could think that it's still irresponsible to go to the parks, but at the same time, by his account he's following the science, the guidelines laid out by the CDC in regards to quaranteeining, etc. And we know from the science that if you're fully vaxxed, the transmission period is very short compared to unvaxxed.

So criticize Tim all you want for his content, his approach, his style, etc. That's all well and good and fair game. But to make up things about him without any evidence to back it up is something that no human being deserves, regardless of whether you personally like them or not.

Thanks for the lecture…and I don’t even entirely disagree with you…

…but it didn’t look good. Which may just be the downside of putting yourself on the internet for click donations every day. The timing looked bad regardless. The premise of “I’m so sick”….followed even reasonably later with “here we are at Epcot to go on ratatouille with some retirees from Sarasota” is gonna catch some flak on this planet…like it or not.

If you watched the video, "I'm so sick" is not what anyone would have taken away from it.

I did go back and watch it. They didn’t come off too well…either of them. Looked like dolts to be honest. “We have no idea what happened?”

You’re dipping around Florida…which has thoroughly embarrassed itself as of late.
Or are we trying to say that all that stuff didn’t happen? Cause history is written.

just not a great overall look. Don’t think we’ll line up on this one. That’s ok.

See now your opinion is reasonable even if I disagree with it. What I am strongly objecting to is the poster earlier who made up stuff.

Besides mishandling the pandemic worse than any other state in the Union this year, being unable to find Brian Laundrie after nearly a month, having buildings collapse with years of warning, and Trevor Lawrence, how exactly are we embarrassing ourselves?

…you didn’t see the urban meyer video, did you?
I live less than an hour from Jacksonville. How am I now just learning of this?? Just looked it up on YouTube and the comments are killing me. 😂😂

"He's just showing the Jaguars how to score."
"Wow! Trevor Lawrence looks good in pink."

BTW, no hate for Trevor from me. He's young. He's got the talent. He's going to explode some day and show his true Clemson self and be a threat. I kid about his disastrous start, but in all honesty I believe he's going to go far in the long haul.

Back to vloggers now...

Just to clarify that I am understand this correctly.. If I were from a state that is not taking steps to control Covid, then I should just stay home and go down with the rest of the state, even though I myself do everything I possibly can to take it seriously? That hardly seems fair. Not cool to punish people based on the potentially bad leadership of their respective states.

The only Disney vloggers I can remotely sit through are MagicJourneys, because they're such nice people and give really honest reviews of the food they eat. You can tell that they really love food and Disney and care about the parks in a real way. I don't watch a lot of vloggers in general (Hello Batty's Disneyland videos were also enjoyable), but generally, I find them obnoxious. It was so uncomfortable during the pre-pandemic days (right before the March 2020 shutdowns) because there were so many of them--I don't want to be on your vlog, dude,--and stop talking/screaming through this entire attraction!

Oh, and I also like Randomland, he seems like a nice guy.

The ones I absolutely detest are the ones who complain about not being more popular and try to blame others --while continuing to make garbage quality content with bad editing to match their miserable attitudes. In the time you spent complaining, you could have worked on improving your product. I have always lived by the maxim, "No one is your competition if you are the best," and that's just it: be the best that you can be and worry about your garbage editing before you blame someone else for your lack of success.

Too literal…

…the residents of those states should pressure their neighbors and politicians to get onboard and do the right thing.

so pick “the right ship”

I’ve heard every nonsensical, low rent “counter arguments”…none hold water.

…and we all sail off into the sunset, over the horizon, and straight on till morning 🛳

Thank you for clarifying. For example, I live in NE, a VERY red state with a VERY conservative governor. I 100% did not vote for him and 200% do not agree with the decisions he has made for our state regarding Covid. With that said, I just can't pick up and move, as much as I would like to sometimes. :) The best I can do is what I feel is right for keeping my husband and I safe.

LOL!! You are pretty much right. I am in Omaha. My husband was Air Force and we spent many years at Offutt. When it was time for him to retire, we decided we liked it here and decided to settle here. Definitely won't be forever, but the politics aside, we love Omaha. It's a great mid sized city.
