Anybody going to final DSMC?

:cry::cry: I wanted to be there but it snuck up on me and I couldn't get a trip together.

I had to listen to that music every single day but it never once got old. I even purchased the Magic in the Streets CD with the old version of the parade and i'd sing along with it on my way to work LOL. I worked the parade numerous times doing crowd control and have many great memories of that... Jumping rope with the little ones. I used to always work the kids zones and we'd play games and jump rope. One day I had the long jump rope out and a little girl was on the other end turning it with me. A few little ones jumped in and then when they got out a little girl walks up to me and asks if she can turn the rope. I hand her the rope and she tells me to get in LOL. I look over at the other cast member kinda to see if it was alright and she nodded at me (I was very new and didn't want to do anything that might get me in trouble when i'm 1000 miles from home). So I hop in. Picture 2 ten year old girls and a 21 year old 6' 5" cast member jumping rope together with 2 kids turning the rope LOL. It was so much fun :D I was laughing, the kids were laughing and all the adults around us were laughing. Good times.

Sorry, DSMC brings alot of stories to mind but I think thats my favorite. Sad to hear today will be the last time to "roll out the red carpet" for the guests of the Studios.

Farewell DSMC. Studios just won't be the same without you. :(

All I can say is so long DSMC and a hardy welcome to Block Party Bash. It is just the type of show DHS needs to revive the energy. It will be a very welcome addition.

Just got back from watching the final run of DSMC. It was very sad to watch. There were lots of tears and cheers for the final run. Most of the CM's in the parade were in tears, and you could even tell by the animation of the characters. :cry:So long DSMC, you will be missed.

I thought DSMC was pretty good. I thought they had a decent mix of characters and ghe cars were really cool to look at. :wave:

I do look froward to see BPB, though.:)
