Anybody else hate the dentist?

Thanks, guys, for your thoughts and advice. This last bout did actually happen after I chewed gum - which I already knew gives me a headache so I shouldn't have been doing it. I will look into this TMJ.

But it sounds like I should call the dentist either way, right? Could it possibly be my wisdom teeth also? Does everyone get wisdom teeth?

It would not hurt to see one but the more information you have when you see him/her the greater the probability he/she will have in making a correct diagnosis. Almost everyone will get wisdom teeth. There is a condition called hypodontia where a person will naturally have fewer that 32 teeth.

I still have my wisdom teeth yay! :sohappy:

For some reason I don't need them out. Woot.

Good thing too, because I REALLY hate the dentist. I never go.

^I got my wisdom teeth out 2 years ago.
It wasn't bad at all.
And this is coming from someone who hates needles, blood, surgery, etc.

That's good to hear.
Because my dentist said that once mine come in, they're coming out!

My mouth is unnaturally small...my dentist hasn't been able to "seal" my back teeth because because of the size of my mouth, the sealant won't be able to dry properly.

The thing I was most scared of was the IV.
They had this spray that numbed my arm, so I didn't feel a thing!
Ask if they have something like that...It was a tremendous help!
After the surgery, I had no pain and there was hardly any swelling.
But that differs from person to person.

That is does. I was eating steak that night. My wife on the other hand looked like a chipmunk storing nuts in her cheeks for nearly 2 weeks.

Yeah...I don't like IVs.
They are not fun.

My brother and sister have both had theirs out...my brother was back to normal very quickly...my sister, eh not so much.
