Going to be at DisneyWorld for a week for my honeymoon. The future wife and I would like to do at least one sit down. Does anyone have any good suggestions?

Epcot is my fav

Downtown Disney- House of Blues
AK- Raiforest Cafe
Epcot- Alfredos
MK- Cinderellas Castle
MGM- 50's prime time cafe
those are good places to eat!!!

some of my favs:
Epcot - Italy, Morrocco, or Canada (all have good food, just depends on ur particular taste...canada is steakhouse-y)
MGM- 50's Prime Time....very fun theme....be prepared to be treated like a child
MK- Can't say ive ever done a sit down there
A lot of the hotels have really great restaurants too. They tend to be pricey but good food.
Rainforest Cafe at either DD or AK is a good choice too.
Just don't forget that priority seating!

SAN ANGEL INN!!!
at the Mexican Pavillion, Epcot (not to be confused with the cantina outside). It's more authentic than what you will find at most places here in the States so some people are a little turned off by that. But it's by far my favorite restaurant on property :slurp:

A nice sit down dinner (about $60-$70 or so if you splurge) is the California Grill in the Contemporary Resort. Call ahead and make reservations, and try to snag a window seat during the fireworks @ the MK. The view is spectacular---you can see almost the entire park and watch guests take the plunge down Splash Mtn. or go for a spin on the Astro Orbiter (I'm beginning to sound like a guidebook =b )...
Seriously, though, it's a nice place to eat.
If you plan to party all night (or at least until 2 AM) at Pleasure Island, might I suggest Portabello Yacht Club. It can get a bit crowded but still maintains a nice atmosphere, and is great if you like Italian food.
And last, but not least, if you like sushi - try Wolfgang Puck's. You can sit @ a regular table or at the sushi bar - be sure to ask to see their sushi menu though as they don't always hand it out with the regular one.

At Disney/MGM Studios try the Hollywood Brown Derby. It's one of our favorites.
At Downtown Disney, Porobello Yacht Club (the vino con fruta is similar to Sangria and it's SO GOOD) or Fulton's Crab House (The Lobster Experience for Two is a bit pricey but worth EVERY cent.)

also, if u want a character experience....the one in Mk ( i think its in Libert Square...Liberty Tree Tavern actually i do believe) Its not too typically a character exp. The critters come by, theyre really fun and all, but the food is great. Its a family style, all u can eat type thing. Its good food and in my experience there generally arent as many kids there as there are in some other places. And if ur REALLy wanna drop a few bucks on dinner, Victoria and Alberts is amazing. (U gotta get dressed up for that one, everything else in the parks is generally pretty casual) in case u cant tell, food in disney is my area of expertise....lol...

I highly recommend Artist Pointe in Wilderness Lodge for dinner.
I also recommend Cinderella's Royal Table for dinner. My husband and I ate at both on our honeymoon.

Okay, this isn't as fancy as you probably want on your honeymoon. But I've eaten at the Crystal Palace in MK twice with a girlfriend and we LOVED it!
The reason is because both times we had a server named Michael. (We actually requested him the second time and have requested him again for our visit later this month).
He is the GREATEST server in Walt Disney World. He sings, he raps, he does OPERA!! And I'm not just talking quiet here... when he sings, everyone in the restaurant knows it! And these impromtu songs are absolutely hilarious.
Once he sang us a hysterical song about a girl in a precarious situation - right at that moment, Pooh walked by, put his hand over his mouth laughing, and then put his hands over his ears! The funniest thing I have EVER seen at WDW!

The singing Michael thing sounds like fun. As far as fancy, we are not really looking for anything too fancy. We will go through all the fancy stuff on our wedding day...DISNEY WORLD is going to just be pure fun!
One more thing, I keep hearing a whole lot about this Rain Forest Café...what types of food do they have there? Is it a buffest style? What about the price range?

I have to say that our favorites are the Whispering Canyon in the WL and the Concourse Steakhouse in the Contemporary. The Rainforest has some good food, but we have one near home and don't feel that it is worth the time (for us anyway). If you go and the Rasta Pasta is still on the menu give it a try. There are some good sandwiches and the soup is good. IMHO there are better places to choose from. Haven't been to the Buffet at Cape May yet, but am going to try it this Aug. We love seafood and hear that it is a great experience. OHANA at the Poly is great...a little $$, but try to time it with the fireworks...it's great. Congrats...have a great time and take lots of pictures.

At MGM I would recommend 50's prime time cafe. The atmosphere is great and my wife and I alwats enjoy a visit there. Whenever we go back to the cafe we always ask for the same waiter and he alaways remembers us on our return visits. The CM's love interacting with our kids as well.
Victoria and Alberts is definately a place to go if you are looking for something at the high end of the scale. As was stated earlier in this post it is a time you will never forget.
