Any last minute ADR comments?

A little less than 7 hours until I can make ADRs for my upcoming Honeymoon! This is the first time I've done the wake up early and call in thing, would you guys recommend calling or doing it online? Although I suppose I can always have the phone to my ear and be using my laptop at the same time. Anyways, any comments before I go ahead and finalize these? Almost all of them are places I've never been before.

Monday - Crystal Palace (L) and California Grill (D)
Tuesday - Grand Floridian Cafe (B), Le Cellier (L), and Rose & Crown (D)
Wednesday - Cinderella's Royal Table (D) ...we'll be over at the Wizarding World most of this day, so only one ADR needed.
Thursday - Planet Hollywood (L) and Cap'n Jack's (D)
Friday - Brown Derby - Dining with an Imagineer (L) and Teppan Edo (D)
Saturday - Kona Cafe (B), Narcoosse's (D)

I know, Cindy's food tends to be so-so, but my fiance is pretty insistent about eating in the castle since he never has. The plan for Rose & Crown is to time it so that we'll be there for Illuminations, since every year I stake out a spot hours in advance only to get shoved so much the whole show that I can't even enjoy it. And I figured I'd end our first and last night with the best!

I usually call in to reserve. A pretty solid list, but I myself would take off planet Hollywood its an experience that you can do anywhere, and is nothing special what so ever. If you want to be in the Downtown Disney area at that time I recommend Bongos, its a really good Spanish restaurant which serves Cuban dishes which are a little less common than Planet Hollywood's fare.

These ADRs look really good. I would go with Fulton's in place of Capt'n Jack's but that is just my choice.

Welcome to the WDW honeymoon club! Good luck and best wishes.

Definitely looks like a solid all star line up, except for your Thursday DTD picks....that's the only weak spot IMO. Wolfgang Puck Cafe is a new favorite of ours. Haven't been to Portobello's since the refurbs a couple years ago but we were pleased there before. Other than that, man I'm jealous! Looks fabulous, nice work planning!!

Crystal Palace - Love it!
California Grill - Can't wait to eat here one day during the fireworks at the MK.
Grand Floridian Cafe - Nice.
LeCellier - Great food!
Rose & Crown - Heard it's good.
Cinderella's Royal Table - Have only eaten there for breakfast, but I would think any meal would be great in the castle!
Planet Hollywood - OK
Cap'n Jack's - Have almost tried this one a few times, but never have.
Brown Derby - Dining with an Imagineer - I would love for my oldest DS to do this one!
Teppan Edo - Doing this one for the first time on our next visit.
Kona Cafe & Narcoosse's - Heard both of these are good.

I would agree with this.

You must be done by now, but I highly recommend making your ADRs online. It opens an hour before the phone lines and it is much faster. I always used to make them over the phone, but after doing the ADRs online this year, I won't go back to phones.

Crystal Palace - food was ok. Character interaction was good.
California Grill - one of the best meal I have ever had at WDW. I usually make a reservation here on Universal day so that I don't use a park admission that day.
Le Cellier - I enjoyed my meal here, but I am wary of the price hike
Kona Cafe - Love the breakfast here. Tonga Toast and Lilikoi juice are the right way to start the day!
Narcoosse's - One of the other best meals I have ever eaten at WDW. I love wastching the electric water pageant from here.

Is your dinner at California Grill late? I always suggest doing Crystal Palace for breakfast instead of lunch, but if you have a late dinner that night it could be a long day.

We ended up switching that a bit, going to Crystal Palace Wednesday morning before MK opens! And we don't have any late ADRs the night before so it should work out good. And yes, our Cali Grill ADR is for during Wishes

Perfect. Your itinerary is VERY similar to mine for our honeymoon in July, except we'll be trying Boma for the first time and we're only doing one sit-down each day. We opted for a 7-night cruise in addition to a week in WDW so we had to trim the budget a bit. :animwink:
