Any examples of 'bad show' from years gone by?

Oh and I agree with the OP...and you.

But there have been some real winners in the last year...case and point...

Those were just plain stupid, and thank goodness they're gone now!

Do you include voice artists too?

I take it you've never seen a traditional UK pantomime either, where the Dame is always played by a man? Not to mention sometimes a leading man is played by a woman.

Back in Shakespeare's time, women weren't allowed to act on stage. All roles were played by men.

Well each to their own eh?
We'd best not bring up Lassie or Flipper, then. :joyfull:

I will also point out about Finding Nemo seeing both Puppeteer & Performer work great for that show having a vibe of Avenue Q since the songs were written by the same artist (Yeah and Frozen)...Buuuut, Does anyone just get a "unsettling" vibe of the version that they use for Disney On Ice...

I'm surprised they don't use the Puppet/Performers for the ice shows...I mean it's workable as they not only use it for the Stage show but, they are also being used for the Pixar Play Parade at DCA...

Back in the day Disney would never have advertising or brand names in the Magic Kingdom ....................................... or would they?

I thought ride and show sponsors existed from the beginning? I thought that is how Walt got some money to build DL.

I've read posts on here saying 'Walt would be turning in his grave' seeing McDonald's or Starbuck's logos inside the parks etc.

You do know those are long gone, right? It was a STUPID idea from the first, and good riddance to bad rubbish.
I don't think the sarcasm I intended for that post came through like it should have. I thought those were ridiculous the first time I heard about them.

I respectfully disagree about the turn around in the last 6 or 7 years. On my trip to the MK last year, almost every bathroom I went into was dirty; paper all over the floor, counters not wiped off, multiple toilets not in usable condition, etc. I blame Disney management for most of it, but unfortunately it's the customer's causing a lot of the problem. Food is certainly passable, but not up to prior standards and depending on the refurbishment schedule of resorts, you can still get a pretty worn out room. It happens in every hotel thought, not just Disney.

When did you go? I go for 2 weeks during the F&WF and I use the restroom ALOT. Like every 45min to an hour(yes I have a medical thing). I have always found them to be very clean. Of course you get some paper towels on the floor, from pigs that can't hit the trash can, that staff has not instantly picked up. But they were very clean, especially the amount of people that use them.

WDW bathrooms are really quite clean when you consider that the amount of people using them dwarfs most any other public restroom you would find yourself using regularly (like at a normal restaurant)
