Hi everybody! My name is Jennifer. I'm 25 years old and a total Degrassi: The Next Generation addict. Any other fans out there? :wave:

I don't watch Degrassi on a regular basis, but whenever I'm alone and it's on TV, I always watch it. But I have to be alone because it embarrasses me :lol:

Very much a guilty pleasure here, too. (Did you see I'm a 25 year old girl? :lookaroun :lol: ) It draws me in each time it's on, and I can't get enough. To be honest, I watch 'The Curse of Degrassi' last night around midnight and was scared out of my wits!

Yep, I'm a 22 year old Degrassi fan. There are so many new characters now, though, who I am not familiar with. The last new characters I remember coming on were Mia, Holly J., Jane, etc.

I can't say that I've seen Degrassi: The Next Generation, but I do remember watching Degrassi Jr High(the original generation, if you will) when I was growing up. Pretty good show as I recall. Though I can only remember one episode of it with any clarity because it dealt with one of the characters having epilepsy and going to get an EEG. I've had several of those in my life, so it does make an impression.

Between Degrassi and Corner Gas, CTV has their entire program promotion lineup. Seriously, the commercials go Degrassi - Corner Gas - Tim Horton's - Degrassi - ING Savings - Corner Gas - Canadian Tire, with minimal room for change. :lol:

(For the record, Canadian television annoys the bejesus outta me... does anyone in this country know how to segue from a program to commercial without jarring the viewer? Anyone?)

Speaking of good Canadian shows, have they had a second season of "Little Mosque on the Prairie" yet? I got to see the first season and really enjoyed it, but I never heard if it got picked up for a second season or not. If you haven't seen it, check YouTube, they probably still have the episodes up there.

22 Minutes and the Mercer Report are pretty much the only Canadian programming I love. (Air Farce used to be until John Morgan passed away... )

That could well be, you have to understand that I was watching it on YouTube after it had already aired it's first run. So I really don't know how long after the first run it had been.

I am a 37 year old Canadian male who is not ashamed to say I've seen more than a few Degrassi episodes, new generation and the old one. Heck, one of my buddy's actually partied with Spike at a house party down in Windsor, Canada one night back in the early 90's I think and said she was pretty down to earth.

Huge non-Canadian Degrassi fan.... film director Kevin Smith. Love the episodes where Jay and Bob came up to Degrassi. :ROFLOL:

I got totally hooked on this wonderful piece of Canadian TV. It was such a nice change form the junk I had been watching. I was so happy that Th N basically ran it 24/7 over the summer...gave me plenty of time to catch up. Plus I kicked Canada mode into overdrive once the Leafs started playing again...
