We did all the Kim Possible Adventures last May. Does anyone know if they have changed/added anything? Kids LOVED doing the adventures and are looking forward to them again this May.

They hadn't changed any of the countries or added any other areas in EP when we were there in November. And I haven't heard of anything in the future as of yet.....

At one time they were talking about adding a game to Italy, but it was a money thing. Since they are adding a new pizzeria to Italy, that will increase traffic to that area anyway.

No and it still doesn't belong in the WS.

It's PERFECT for WS.:brick: Even with characters.

You get to explore, see, and interact with WS, how is it not good?

Of course, I'd love it if they dropped the cartoons and made it a little more "International Spy" oriented...

It's a fun way for kids to explore the WS... I would do this because you will be doing something fun while looking around.

Precisely; I give Imagineers major props on this one. What's wrong with an attraction that gets families excited to explore the pavilions and interact with some of the CMs there? You can't even argue the effects are the problem because they've all been done subtley so as not to ruin the appearence or atmosphere of the pavilions.

The only thing I will give you is the character tie in, but even that is relatively minor in the grand scheme of things (as its basically in name only) that its of little annoyance.

Kim Possible is a solid addition to World Showcase, and I would love to see the argument of why "it still doesn't belong."

Exactly. Perfect tool for EPCOT and EPCOT Center-esque in it's effects. Got to experiment with it in December, and it's a great experience. Hopefully I get to do a full mission in June.

We just did 6 adventures in December (we had done most before at least once). Nothing new, but you do get different clues and different effects different times. We have done both Japan, China, and Norway multiple times and had at least one or two different clue/activities each time.

In terms of the characters, we had no idea who they were the first time we did it, now we have the Tivo set for middle of the night on Disney Channel as it is my 6yr old's favorite show. Much as I may not be a big fan of characters in EPCOT, it obviously works much better than the Kidcot stations in terms of getting youngsters involved in the countries.

I'd love to see a KP hunt added to Italy. I've always felt that Italy was one of the most dissappointing pavilions in all of Epcot. It's one of the most beautiful pavilions, but I find the shops/food pretty unappealing.

Question on Kim Possible, Are there only 3 starting points for the missions: Norway, International Gateway and Italy?

Am I the only one who'd like to see Perry the Platypus replace Kim Possible as the star of the game?

:lookaroun

That would be a great replacement! I never understood how they settled upon Kim Possible so many years after her show stopped production? Do we have a Darkwing Duck stunt show to look forward to at DHS? An Oliver and Company dark ride in the Magic Kingdom? And will Beastly Kingdom finally be built with a Black Cauldron overlay? Granted these are concepts I wouldn't mind seeing but with a company that likes to exploit current properties to it's fullest it's odd having this in World Showcase. (I think it's great though)

He is a platypus. They don't do much.

Exactly.

And Perry doesn't even talk, for crying out loud.

Leave KP alone. At least the characters from that show actually get to travel the world regularly. The Phineas & Ferb characters, not so much.

Just because a show or film is no longer airing or relevant or whatever does not mean that they should be barred from recieving new attractions based on them. By having attractions based on those characters, or even by having the characters come out for meet-and-greets in the parks, it's a good way to keep certain characters alive, active and in the public consciousness and to remind everyone that they do exist, no matter what.

I find that they can be one step behind when it comes to the characters. How long was Bear in the Big Blue House at Playhouse Disney in HS when it hadn't been on the air for years? I agree though, we did KP in Sept. and I LOVED it, saw things in EPCOT that I'd never seen before:D. My kids loved the concept, but for a 4 and 7 yr old, the stories were long and complicated, they just wanted to get to the part where they look for stuff. Phineas and Ferb would be a great theme for that, or just a general spy theme.
