hey everyone

wanted some advice if possible

going with my wife, we're in our early 30s. Neither of us have been there since we were kids and probably won't come back in a while till we have kids of our own that are old enough.

we'll have 5 park days.. trying to decide between the following:

1) 2 epcot, 2 mk and 1 HS
or
2) 2 epcot, 1 mk, 1 HS, 1 AK
or
3) 1 epcot, 2 mk, 1 HS, 1 AK

any advice would be great!
thanks!

We always do 2 MK, 1 Epcot, 1 DHS, and 1 AK! We don't do hoppers (we have young kids) and we always have a blast with that schedule! Just a tip, we always try to do AK as our last park day. Since it closes so early, we get back to the hotel and eat dinner there and then get our belongings together and pack! That way you aren't getting back your resort super late and having to pack in be middle of the night to leave the next day! Happy planning!

option three. you might hear alot of crap about AK and it is true that it closes early but it is a wonderful park to stroll in...granted as of late there are walls everywhere for construction. i would also say the park hopper is well worth it if your planning in advance. when we go we often make dining reservations in other parks. in fact when we did animal kingdom we left went back to resort than we went to Hollywood studios just to eat at 50s.

Congrats on your upcoming travels!
My best advice would be to really research the attractions and dining at each park to see what strikes you as enjoyable. For example, if you love countries and sampling food and drinks, 2 Epcot days are best for you. If you love classic Disney and fantasy, 2 MK days are best. Also consider where you are staying and transportation options

Option 3 would be our plan but do whatever strikes you guys. Have a blast!

i would agree that getting the park hopper would benefit you greatly.just having the option to go to other parks for dinner or drinks makes a wonderful evening.without the hopper you can feel restricted in your planning.what my family likes to do is hit each park the first 4 days .then on the last day we like to hop the parks and do our favorites on the last day.you can do all 4 parks in a day and it is a great way to end the trip.enjoy your trip it's a wonderful place to be .

2 days MK, 1 day each the other three parks. Before deciding which park to do which day, make sure to check the hours for the parks during the time you are there. Animal Kingdom closes earlier than the other parks, so you will need to plan accordingly. Since your tickets don't include park hopping, you want to be able to spend as much time as possible in any one park before it closes. And Steve has a great tip about visiting Animal Kingdom your last day.

Park Hoppers are fun but certainly NOT necessary. We used to always do option 3. 2 days at MK and 1 each of the others and always got everything we wanted done. Now we stay a little longer and fit in an extra day at Epcot. Anyway...have fun!

As you haven't been for a long time and probably won't be returning for a while either (though your opinion on that may change once you experience the magic again!) i'd go for the 1 MK, 1 EP, 1HS, 1AK and then for the last day i'd go back to whichever park I liked the best/wanted to see more of :).

I know its helpful to have the FP+ all arranged, but i'd leave that extra day and decide the day before which park you want to hit and then just book your fast passes for whatever you can!

Hope you have an absolute blast!

I would advise the third option mentioned in the OP, that being 1 EPCOT, 2 MK, 1 DAK, and 1 DHS.

Why? Fresh eyes have not seen these places, therefore fresh hearts have not formed an opinion yet as to the worthiness or waning quality of any park. Go see everything, and attempt to enjoy everything, before forming an opinion for any future trips.

Given that you are not touring with kids, I would do 2 Epcot, 1 MK, 1AK & 1 DHS.

The suggestion of a different park each day and one you want to go back to on the last day is best, except for the FP+ planning. Make sure to do your must do's in the day you are at the park and get what you can on the second day. Most attractions will have FP+'s available on the day of or night before. Just may not be your optimal times.

We had 5 days last time and did 1 MK, 2 Epcot, 1 AK, 1 HS...given the current state of the parks though, I would currently do 2 @ MK and Epcot then 1 Animal Kingdom

We love epcot so we do epcot atleast 2 days MK 2 days and normally just do hs and AJ as 1/2 days unless it's christmas time we stay at hs for the lights and everything. But we hop around the hotels and DTD also.
