The point of this thread was for people to vote with their opinion comfortably, without the fear of being called out by another member if they choose not to write a post. So i'd hope everyone voted honestly. That being said i'm really not surprised that "ToT should've stayed" has a lead, no matter how small, among 119 (currently) people on this forum.

I'm sure you'd encounter some first-timers who didn't even know ToT existed and thought MB was built from scratch.
Likewise, I'm sure you'd meet plenty of folks who are Guardians-illiterate but simply like the idea of a thrill ride that goes up and down at random.

I think you'd be surprised. Colleges are getting out soon (grad night season starts tomorrow) and people pick the most random times to take vacations. But, I'd be surprised if it wasn't at least 60-40 in favor of AP's.

No. Objectively, it doesn’t require a survey to know RSR is the most popular ride.

Actually, since we'll never see the real results, it stands to reason that Disney doesn't care one way or the other how fans vote. They can get away with whatever changes they want (based on current agenda), whether it was voted on or not, AND they can always justify it by honestly saying they surveyed people. Surveys are a joke. Disney will do what it's CEO wants them to do 100% of the time.

Depends on how you define “fan”. They do surveys which I participate on occasion, but they survey whoever is around. It’s a random survey. Surveys may be a joke, but everyone does it. My company does it. Things aren’t necessarily better for me, but the company checks to see if they “achieve their own objectives”. The hardcore Disney fan are outliers based on how I read these discussion forums.

I don't care for the IP, but great IP attractions can be the basis of my relationship with that IP and nostalgia for it (IE, star tours, indiana jones adventure, jurassic park river adventure). SW:GE will hopefully do that. Mission breakout, no. Nothing nostalgic or cinematic or epic about it.

No. No. No. You don't understand. They LISTEN TO US. They CARE. They ALWAYS take into account what we talk about in these forums. The Disney Fan is their number one priority. If we think something sucks, they HEAR it. They VALUE our AP status!

I think that's why disney killed the tot, too many people complained, mainly that it was a cheapo version of the wdw one.

OK, not "fans" but "people in general". Doesn't change the point of my statement. Disney can and will continue to do whatever their current agenda demands despite whatever results the guest surveys actually reveal.
