Unfortunately there is no elaboration. Disney decided to close them and that is pretty much the end of that. I happen to agree with everyone here, in that they were a nice place to destress, grab a drink, a nice comfy seat and relax for a while. I never cared for the one in the Animal Kingdom though. That one always looked like it was done on the cheap. The one in the Land was lovely though. BelleDisJosh said:Ummm. :veryconfu
Could you or someone else elaborate?
I'm sure someone here has an answer.
Now that I have an annual pass it would have been nice to check out the passholder lounges.
Not a lot of elaboration to give. Disney closed the lounges, no explaination was forthcoming.DisJosh said:Ummm. :veryconfu

I wish i could have been in the one at the land... maby nestly wanted it back??
(they could use the one in SE now..... or TLS.... altermnate on the days perhaps)
The offices were there when the lounge was there. They seemed, however, to be unused.beanboon said:Maybe they needed the space.
The one in the Land appears to have been taken over by office cubicles. If you take a ride on Living with the Land and look up you can see them. Sit in the front row of the second boat to see really well.
They also seem to have filled Imagination's corporate lounge (never an AP lounge) with the same type of cubicles.

That's correct. We actually had several luncheons and our graduation dinner in the old lounge. From what I remember (I was there when they discontinued them), it was a staffing issue. It wasn't worth the money to pay CMers to staff the areas because very few people used them, except in peak times. Therefore, they decided the small benefit from them was not worth the price. Now, that is only a vague memory, and I could be VERY wrong. Just thought I remembered hearing that.Gail Hayden said:The offices were there when the lounge was there. Now that you mention that.... I do recall something to that effect.Epcot82Guy said:That's correct. We actually had several luncheons and our graduation dinner in the old lounge.
