I plan on purchasing a annual pass coming up! My ? is when I do purchase it right then and there. Does that mean that the days it starts or do I have to activate when I get down there! If thats the guess when I go and book a room and get a annual discount and when they ask me did I purchase a annual pass, how do I provide proff that I did to get my discount! Thanks:p

:king: When you purchase your ticket ... that does not necessarily mean it will be activated at that time. When we went, we bought the ticket on May 2, 2001 and we activated it on May 3, 2001. So... until May 3, 2002 it will be good. I have already used it 3 times this year, they are a really good deal for an avid disney fan who plans to make more trips than 1 to the Walt Disney World Resort. Happy Holidays and have fun whenever you go! I go in February... ahh!!!! :D

Jay, if you buy it at the Disney Store or through AAA or by mail, you get a voucher that you take down there and activate. I'm guessing that the room shouldn't be a problem because at the time you are using it you will have an AP and they have up to the end of your stay to total your final bill.. You'll have an active AP once you get down there so I don't see what the problem should really be (besides explaining all of this to them on the phone). To find out more about it, you may want to give them a call at the following # for annual pass holder: (407) 560-PASS

Good luck :)

We did that back in Oct. We got 1 AP from the Disney Store (actually just a voucher) and used it to check into our rooms. (up to 2 rooms per AP). Afterwards, we all went over and purchased our passes and exchanged the voucher. BTW, go to the World Showcase entrance at EPCOT, it has the shotest lines at guest services to get your AP.

Thanks for the tip, Buzz. :)

We're planning to visit WDW a total of at least 13 days within a year. I would assume the benefits and cost for an AP would exceed the benefits and costs for the all-inclusive resort magic package. Does anybody know?

Next visit in 3 months.

Definatly! If you are planning on going more than 6 days..the annual pass pays for itself. Actually...you MAY be better off getting a Seasonal pass (its a lot chepaer but it has "blackout" days)...

Any idea out there when Disney usually raises the price of it's park passes, including an annual pass? My trip is not until February but I'm thinking I should buy my passes before the end of the year. My concern is that I just joined the DisneyClub to take advantage of the pass discounts, but it sounds like I have to wait 2 to 4 weeks to receive my membership card before I can purchase the discounted passes. Is this true? Thanks.

The cost of tht tickets are generally the same year round..however due to the recent attendence ..the prices have been irratic and changing randomly. So It is hard to predict when the best time to buy is....

Me and my friend are going down on Jan. 3rd. I'm probably going to make it back at least once more in the year total, would it be cheaper to get the anual pass, or get the 7 park hopper plus ticket for just this trip? I've been thinking on this one for quite a while and haven't thought of anything. A little help?:veryconfu

Well..if you aren't a florida resident..and you are not 100% positive you are going to make it back again within the year..I'd say get the park hopper...
