Dreaming big in Glendale costs more than it should. But the figures we're still talking about aren't to be sniffed at.

Should it all happen.

I've said it before, as long as they don't screw up/destroy Spaceship Earth, American Adventure, Living with the Land, and keep Figment around in a meaningful way, I'll "put up" with the rest of it being assaulted by IP. That being said, it's still a terrible scenario.

The first one was already "screwed up" but not beyond repair though.

Yep, a maze is an attraction. Both Paris and Shanghai have Alice mazes. Paris has the original film, and Shanghai has the Burton version.

My biggest issue with an Alice attraction in the UK is that the majority of the movie takes place in Wonderland, not the UK. Not like that matters to Disney anymore (cough, Frozen, cough).
I would rather see a maze used as a queue to a more substantial attraction.

Me they love it. 13 and 11. 13yr old just watched it over christmas again.

Our 4 yr old is obsessed with Mary Poppins right now, she saw 1 YouTube Video loved it, bought her the BluRay about a month ago and she's been playing it non stop. And this is the same little girl who a month before was on a Moana obsession. So MP still appeals to the kids today, at least some.

I know this will never happen, but the attraction I'd love for the UK would be an Alice in Wonderland (original, not Burton) dark ride fully utilizing modern special effects for a crazy, psychedelic experience. I'm generally not a fan of IPs in the World Showcase, but Alice is sort of actual literature, so I'd bend the rule for it.

In actuality, if they did one it would be based on the Burton films, and they're not going to do that anyway after the sequel bombed, so I know it's a pipe dream.

An original idea I had was to do a RRC type thing set during Beatlemania where you're riding in their car while they escape from a mob of crazy fans (they had to go to great lengths in real life so basing a thrill ride/roller coaster off it isn't entirely off base). A Beatles attraction would also generate loads of publicity and probably huge waits when it opened. Of course licensing would be brutal if they wanted to use actual Beatles songs, and doing impersonators in the pre show could be tacky. They could always get Paul McCartney to do the safety video and remind everyone to check their seatbelts.

Would work as a World Showcase Agent P type deal. Although there's no denying the Sherlock stories and characters are as much a part of UK (London) as the Queen mother. A seedy fog-filled London dark ride in which we help Sherlock (or Great Mouse detective) would be epic!

I'll wait until the day Disney buys this IP for this to take over World Showcase Gaming...And makes much more sense!!!
