Nice to know this is still happening, I was worried it had been taken out of consideration.

Sorry Martin, I'm sure that this has probably been addressed in the 200 something page threads, but is this ride concept going to be similar to Tony Baxter's Mary Poppins ride design? I saw a short video on this a few years back and thought it was brilliant and would fit perfectly in the UK pavilion.
Is THIS the attraction concept to which you refer?

So it's BAXTER who's responsible for the exiting through a gift shop! Curses!;)

I don’t have specific details but I doubt it would be so elaborate.
So it is not going to be elaborate...we were told a B or C at most style ride, but not a spinner... and not a dark ride.... So if it is not a dark ride or a spinner What could it possibly be? a coaster would be out of the question...a flow through boat ride would also be a higher level ticket...
It has me baffled.

I don't think any of the meet and Greets would even be considered a B attraction... A or less maybe, and it is supposed to be at least a B attraction....
I was kidding since I know how much you like the meet and greets:p
I hope the new movie does well and they move forward with the project. I would prefer the 1960’s version but will go into the movie theatre with an open mind just like I did with Solo.

Who said no dark ride?

I don't remember now who said it, but it was stated, dont expect any sort of a dark ride... But that was a long time ago...possibly things have changed since then...
After riding FEA, although it is a poor fit for future world, it was so beautifully designed...a perfect fantasyland dark ride... I am hoping if they go dark ride they let the creative director that lead that team do it...

I know I had specifically mentioned that a FL-style dark ride WAS an option.

Pretty sure yours was the latest piece of definitive information we've had. And I'm still holding onto it in hope!

I think these two posts summarise things "nicely"! Is it any wonder we're all confused, clearly TDO is equally confused!

There was an IP based dark ride. Then a possible whip or carousel of the same IP. Then a dark ride again. Then another IP came along. Then it became a carousel. Then possibly a dark ride again.

And I think we're now back to the original IP. Perhaps. For now.

To clarify, both this and Mexico are in a state of flux. There’s several plans for both pavilions, at this stage I don’t think there is a definite 100% answer for either. I believe at this time if only one happens, something in the UK is favourite. I’m trying to clarify.

I think its been mentioned by myself and the two higher insiders that a dark ride was the plan. I was told and @MansionButler84 also confirmed an Alice style ride was as far as you should hope....

Edit: i see its already been mentioned above :)

Could they be turning the WoL into a permanent festival space so that they could tear down the Millennium Pavilion thing by U.K. TO BUILD Poppins?
