Trip Report And When it's Time to Find Home. We know the Way!! Aue Aue

Good Morning all my Disney loving friends! We just hit the road and our first destination is Charlotte, NC. However, before I get ahead of myself, it is our normal crew, myself, Deighton (I turn the big 5 0 this year), Den my husband and our 3 kids. Hunter who is 20 and is now bartending... Camden 13 still an avid lacrosse player and fisherman and the youngest Brinley, 9 for now but on August 10 she will turn 10 in Disney World.

Here is a brief schedule of the next 2 weeks. As I stated earlier we will arriving in Charlotte, NC around 4 pm today. We have reservations at a southern BBQ restaurant (let the feeding frenzy begin). Tomorrow, we leave early to get to Savannah Georgia as soon as possible. We have a lot that we want to do here but the weather is not showing that it is going to cooperate. Hopefully the weather man is as wrong in Savannah as they are in
Pittsburgh!

After a night in Savannah, we are headed to Disney Springs for 2 days. We have reservations in Disney Springs and this is when we will do some resort hopping. Then it is home to The Boardwalk for 9 nights with a seven day hopper. Then back to Charlotte to meet up with my brother and his family. Then sadly home and back to the grind! I will post more details shortly!

This crab dish was definitely one of my favorite bites of the week.

The mushroom flatbread was ok.

So... this is probably a one and done for us. It is just not our style. Den actually drank my drink. It tasted nothing like the description! Thankfully, I have a husband who won't waste alcohol!

We are now at the Crew Cup having a drink and saying goodbye to Justin. Michael another server here who we enjoy is going to Nomad Lounge and tomorrow is his last day here.

I had the brulee drink when I went there and it was just okay, I was hoping for more banana flavor. I had the peach whisky smash and I'm not really into whisky but it was very good.

I was told it had a coffee and banana forward flavor and I tasted neither. I should have just had something simple. I almost had the peach whiskey smash! Darn!

Now this is the life!!! Waiting for a boat to The Boardwalk and watching Tangled.

Good morning!!

Today is the last day!! No!!! No!!! It has gone by so fast!! I was up early but Den was snoring away. I really thought it best that he gets some sleep with 2 days of driving ahead. I will keep you posted on what it is next. The only definite is a reservation for Via Napoli tonight but with us you never know! The real only definitely is that we have to pack!

Hunter, Brin and I are headed to Flights of Passage that posted a 45 minute wait. For the 10th time this trip, at least, we are going to be waiting much longer!

Wait time 90 minutes.

Den and Cam got front row of Expedition Everest and had a blast!

They got us a table at Nomad Lounge our reason for being here!

We are hungry (shocker, right?) and sadly service is very, very slow so we are going to head over to Rain Forest because there are no other places available. It is also one of Brin's favorites!

I had a burger with no bun and it was great!!

Cam had TWO orders of the kids mac n cheese with fries. He does not want me to post it...

A quick tip, that you probably already know, but for any fellow Animal Kingdom lovers. The fastest way to enter AK is through the Rain Forest gift shop in the back. Also, the Rain Forest Gift Shop has a lot more reasonably priced toys and merchandise than the big cheeses stuff. Just saying!

Brin and I are waiting for a boat to Epcot. The boys walked but Brin is exhausted!! Destination, i forgot about our 420 Beaches and Cream reservation. I should have canceled it. I am not eating but the kids may...

We will definitely be having a full meal next time we are here. I highly recommend this place if you can get a reservation.
