Trip Report And When it's Time to Find Home. We know the Way!! Aue Aue

Good Morning all my Disney loving friends! We just hit the road and our first destination is Charlotte, NC. However, before I get ahead of myself, it is our normal crew, myself, Deighton (I turn the big 5 0 this year), Den my husband and our 3 kids. Hunter who is 20 and is now bartending... Camden 13 still an avid lacrosse player and fisherman and the youngest Brinley, 9 for now but on August 10 she will turn 10 in Disney World.

Here is a brief schedule of the next 2 weeks. As I stated earlier we will arriving in Charlotte, NC around 4 pm today. We have reservations at a southern BBQ restaurant (let the feeding frenzy begin). Tomorrow, we leave early to get to Savannah Georgia as soon as possible. We have a lot that we want to do here but the weather is not showing that it is going to cooperate. Hopefully the weather man is as wrong in Savannah as they are in
Pittsburgh!

After a night in Savannah, we are headed to Disney Springs for 2 days. We have reservations in Disney Springs and this is when we will do some resort hopping. Then it is home to The Boardwalk for 9 nights with a seven day hopper. Then back to Charlotte to meet up with my brother and his family. Then sadly home and back to the grind! I will post more details shortly!

Good morning! We ended up getting to the Yacht Club early so we headed over to the crew cup for drinks and bread rolls.

Then we headed next door for an amusing dinner at Ale and Compass. First we waited about 15 minutes after our reservation, not that we cared in the least.

Then it was time for dinner. I will not call out the servers name but she seemed...ditsy. I am not trying to be rude! She had a heart of gold but was scattered brained and it was truly comical!!! First up, Manhattan!

Den and I split the wedge salad. The peppercorn dressing and bacon was delicious. I would definitely get this again or take it to go for lunch!

We also got the specialty flatbread for the kids which was a French onion flatbread. I am told it was delicious! We took some to go so I will have a piece for breakfast.

So... all of this was taking a very long time and we did not care because it was raining sideways outside!! Then dinner came out in stages and the food runners were very frustrated but we assured them that we didn't care!!

Den and i split our 2 entrees. This is when everything went off the rails. I ordered the pork chop MD rare it was well done. We waited but couldn't get our servers attention so we sawed through it with butter knives. It was comical! When the final dish was on the table, we asked for another round of drinks but they never came. When she came back to the table, we told her about the pork chop and she wanted to bring us a new one. We declined because the kids were antsy and all needed aloe. That is when this came out. Lol

I was happy with the glow cubes!

Thank you so much!! I really enjoy doing them, I really appreciate everyone who does them to keep me entertained all year long and love having a "log" of all our adventures through the years! I think live reports are far easier than typing when I get home.
