worst. Time. Ever.

I know...but summer is out...if Joel does go to this camp I found for him starting next summer, our vacations will be in the mountains of NC. So if we go to Florida, spring break is our only other option. We got the schedule for the marching band for next year... 2 1/2 friggin' pages of stuff!

Dang. Almost makes you wonder... Part of me doesn't want my kids involved in anything. I'm selfish and want them home with me all the time.

The problem with Abby is encouraging balance...she is in choir next year, as well as marching band. Also wants to be involved with thespians, and school paper. But she will be taking honors language arts and history, and I don't want her in freakout mode if at all possible. (well, I can dream anyway)
With Joel it's just a struggle to get him through the school day...he was additionally diagnosed w/ ADHD symptoms under the autism, so we have to deal with that. So he is very much a home child.

Not me...they get on my last nerve even though most days I would take a bullet for them.

Yeah. That too. But I hate to plan my whole life around something like sports. Alek will NOT know that sports exist if I have my way. REALLY don't want to spend several hours a week watching them wiff a T Ball. :hurl:

Fortunately, the 'lack of coordination' gene in both my husband and myself has been passed on to our children

Oh, Amen, sister! I go to Em's b-ball games and feel bad because I am soo not interested. At this age they have no clue...but I guess it's all stepping stones.

At least in soccer or something there's running to watch. Can't stand baseball. I don't even want to watch REAL baseball players, let alone 5 year olds who can't hit. I know that sounds awful, but there are sooo many other things I'd rather do with my kids.
