I guess now is a good time for me to tell you all that Lauren is getting a divorce. In her case, it's good news for everyone. It just wasn't right. She's already begun to move on and has a new guy. We haven't met him yet, but we haven't seen her this happy in ages, so we're thinking he's very good for her. I hope so. She deserves that.
I want to say that just about everyone goes into marriage with the idea that it will be forever. But people aren't perfect. They change and disappoint. Some marriages are worth staying and fighting for and some aren't.

Oh my... :( So sorry to hear both of these! I guess it's better to find out these things now, than after they have kids and have to deal with custody and all that unpleasentness. Here's hoping for healing.

Marc redeemed himself tonight. Sat through almost all of New Moon with me.

I'm sorry. Liked the books... just cannot stomach that kind of claptrap anymore. Whine whine whine. Although TL is nice to look at. :lookaroun

Thanks everyone. Even though he seems ok now, I still feel really sad for him and also for his 2 boys, my nephews. I know they aren't her children, but they're very close to her and I know it will be difficult for them.

And {{hugs}} for Dottie and Lauren.

School again today (although most communities around us are out). Mall is still underwater, as is the Sewer Treatment plant, the Interstate, and Dave's office. Many bridges and dams are eroding - this stinks *quite literally!) :mad:
