So, they didn't call school off.....:fork:

Just got here after rerouting myself past the several closed roads and highways....it's always an adventure!

Anyway, I'm not supposed to use this computer for this, but no one's here yet. It's going to be a long day!!! (but at least we can flush here!!!:sohappy:)

Good morning peeps!

I hope we're getting our back basement wall taken care of today. It will be nice to not wonder whether we're going to be dealing with saturated carpets or a basement flooding frenzy this summer. Looks like the weather will cooperate too....*wishes for the sunshine to make its way east*

I'm off to tackle cleaning up our family room - sorting things out for our garage sale and the like. I need some way of storing everything we'll be selling - I'm just creating piles of stuff in other places! :lol:

Howdy!

Lost internet for a moment as they continue to dig out the backside of my house :hammer: - but they also removed some of our family room drywall - yep, there's mold. :brick: Who knows how much drywall they'll have to remove before all is said and done. Ugh.....

So, ummmm.....my daughter wanted to look at my wedding dress, and I let her try it on......other than the fact that she has the figure I never had and would need it taken in a LOT.....it fit her beautifully.
:cry::cry::cry: Why is she growing up so fast????? She went to a youth rally this past weekend, and they had reps there from some church affiliated colleges, and she signed up for their mailing list. So I guess we'll start getting stuff already for college. :eek: 5 more years - that's IT.

Ugh. :( Need some prayers for my family please. My SIL left my brother. Apparantly she moved out just after Christmas and the only people who knew were my parents. They didn't really say anything to the rest of us until now cuz my brother was trying to get her to come back and work things out. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen. She'd been living w/ a friend but she just got her own apartment and refuses to see a counselor or try to make it work. She's just..."not happy". :shrug: She's pretty young (25), I just think maybe she wasn't ready for marriage? I suppose this explains why she hasn't returned any of my messages. It's hard for us cuz she's been a close part of our family for years.

Prayers are there for them and ya'll. It is a shame that young people think that marriage is sooo disposible.
