He went to City Walk one trip with his parents before we got married and it was late and loud and there was a lot of clubbing and such. Plus is just not as "magical" and too much like Six Flags for his taste. Roller Coasters and such.

Well, we'll see. We're not into clubbing obviously, so CityWalk will probably be for shopping and grabbing some lunch - the rest of the time will be in both parks. Other than HP, I want to explore Seuss Landing w/ Joel and the Jurassic Park camp. At Uni Studios, he wants to see the Jimmy Neutron thing, Curious George water play area, etc. Plus the pool at the Hard Rock has a sandy area on one side of it and underwater speakers in the pool. So we'll take some sand toys down for Joel to play with. Actually, Uni only has 3 major coasters, plus Revenge of the Mummy has a coaster area. I am just soooo looking forward riding Forbidden Journey! And seeing the portrait room of the castle! :sohappy::sohappy:

Um...is it funny that I didn't realize that quote WAS from a DCL commercial?!
Really???
I assumed she meant a snowglobe, no? :lookaroun
Ohhh. Riiiiight....
this late? Goodness! won't that make him go down late at bedtime?
Well he takes 2 naps, 1 in the AM and 1 late afternoon right around now. He just only slept 20 min this morning. :dazzle:
It actually makes the evenings much smoother and helps him go down easier to do a late afternoon nap (normally around 3/3:30ish). It's usually only an hour and then he goes to bed at 8/8:30. When he was napping earlier he couldn't make it past 7 and wasn't seeing DH all week since he doesn't get home until a little past 7. This works well too cuz he'll usually sleep til 7/8 in the morning so that means I get a decent nights sleep most nights too :king:

When Anya was on 2 naps a day, her second one usually started around 2 ish. Any later and she wouldn't sleep at night.

We're getting to the point right now where the nap is in danger of going for good.:cry:

I'm torn on what to do... Some days she REALLY needs her nap. You can just tell. But then she sleeps until 4:30 and has a tough time going to sleep at night. Bedtime is around 8:30 these days, but last night she was talking to herself and singing until almost 10!

Yep - we have those nights occasionally. But Joel's bedtime is around 9 (altho I'm allowing this week until 9:30) But you do get used to the naps stopping - it just takes a while. For Mom I mean. :lookaroun

I'm holding out until she turns 3... then she goes to preschool without me, so I can still get my me-time during the day to do laundry and other such things.

Like now, I'm doing paperwork and bills... :lookaroun ...and talking to you fine people.

When we cut the twins' naps, we transitioned to "quiet time". Which was an hourish in the afternoon in their rooms w/ books or a quiet toy in their bed. They usually fell asleep for a bit, but even on the days they didn't it really helped them to have a bit of a slow-down.
