An Untouchable’s Eventual Fate?

Don’t think pirates or small world would be close to the top of the chop list...

Now living with the land? Beauty and the beast? Flights of wonder?

I could see Living with the Land as being a little safer. Since they already use that greenhouse anyway, and its something that can be updated and constantly changed. Arguably a mean reason for it always being a walk-on is its monster capacity stuff. Keep in mind that wait times do have two sides to the equation, its not all based on demand.

Again, would anyone here be able to confirm this as something that was considered, or touch on whether Alex's source is indeed correct on this? I'll tag you, @swge to maybe give some information on this, since you were able to shed some light on work going on behind the scenes at DLR's refurb of Snow White. If not, no worries. Again, for those of you who may not know, Alex stated that his source may not be 100% accurate, so therefore I'm interested in getting a confirmation on this. Also, I'm aware that COVID has put a strain on CapEx, so therefore such dramatic plans will not come to fruition anytime soon, and hopefully will never.

I've personally heard absolutely nothing about bulldozing small world. I remember a couple years back they definitely wanted a FL expansion to replace magical map and the motor boat cruise area.. the theater footprint is big enough for a good sized show building.. Frozen was a big contender but nobody ever said anything about sw. Magical map had 5 year contracts that kept on getting renewed.. I believe they were waiting for their renewed contract to finish before jumping on a FL expansion. With the recent unfortunate news about the show never coming back, maybe a FL expansion is on the horizon? But also funds are tight and other projects like Splash are definitely taking priority at the moment. In my personal opinion, it seems so odd to focus on an already perfect FL when you have a rotting Tomorrowland withering away right next door... I wish that imagineering's energy/time/budget went into bettering the theme park experience as a whole, rather than jumping on IPs just for monetization.

Phew, I’m glad I can toss that rumor in the dumpster. Thanks for clearing that up. I completely agree with you there. It’s all about prioritizing what NEEDS to be fixed, and I definitely think our fantasyland is near perfection. Tomorrowland is a complete utter mess, and has been for the past couple decades or so. It’s incredibly sad. I also worry they’ll just shoehorn Tron into the current footprint of Autopia, FNSV and the old carousel theater. I strongly believe that’ll ruin the charm of the area, and we don’t need anymore clones. There is just too much potential in the area, and I wouldn’t want any of it to go to waste.
