Disney has a tendency to do that recently. They hop on to a concept when it has already peaked and then wonder why it isn't bringing in the crowds. Who wants to be a millionare was similar, but had a broader appeal since everyone could play. They also gave out legit prizes if you happened to make it to the hot seat and do well.
Sorry if I have already missed this info in the thread somewhere, but does anyone know the terms of the deal between WDW/DHS and American Idol/Product 19 (or whatever the company is) as to how long Disney guaranteed Idol space in that building? I am hoping it wasn't open-ended.
They should just move all of us in there to create the best vision for re-purposing that stage and area. C'mon guys...you KNOW we could do a pretty durn good job.
