Bummer, as a movie geek, I loved seeing the movie props. Frankly, though, it didn't seem to be refreshed the past couple times I'd gone, so it's been a while since I've been in there.

Anyone who's recently been in there have some photos to see if it's worth hitting up one more time.

As far as a replacement, could we be seeing a Star Lord meet and greet to utilize the rumored jacket seen in costuming? Throw in some GotG props and I'm sold.

How could this save money until the space is needed for something else? It's just a display... Requires no staffing.

No it is officially a museum. The cases are locked, alarmed and atmospherically controlled. It requires a Museum Curator as well as Security personnel, you will see Disney Security walking through AFI on a regular basis and they are responsible for locking the building at night and unlocking it in the morning. Custodial staff need to request to get in to clean after hours. This is the same for HOP and AA.

Seriously with this gone, what's left of the backlot tour??? They must be planning something. The backlot tour serves no real purpose anymore, it has to be closing soon. That whole back area has to be nearing time for redevelopment . I can guess this won't be the last we hear of stuff changing in that part of the park. They should either build a cars land or Star Wars land there.
