Does anyone know if there exists a way to download a few of the songs from the American Adventure that ARE NOT recorded on location by someone in the seats? Like, I want the real authentic thing, in decent quality too.

I haven't been able to find any either, and I've done a bit of looking myself. The one place I haven't tried is MouseBits, so someone might have some luck there...

Golden Dreams is one of the greatest songs in the world. it ranks right up there with the one from the Canada pavillion.

that was sarcasm.

i know Walt Disney World - Official Album (2006) Where the Magic Lives has Golden Dreams on it

This is not the best option, but what I've done in the past is this:

1.) Locate the sound from a site that has actual Disney sounds.
2.) Using a connection from the headphone jack of your computer, record the file into a cassette recorder.
3.) If you want to burn to CD, you have to use a program that converts tapes CD's. I use LP Ripper.
4.) Download the song from the recorder back into your conversion program, then burn to a CD.

Granted, it's not the absolute best quality (althought it's not bad by any means) but if you can't find it any other way, this works for me.

Easier than that, look for a program that will record anything your computer hears/plays. It'll save them as an MP3. I have one and use it for recording live radio broadcasts, etc. Don't kow the name of it off the top of my head, but I can let you know when I get home tonight.

Sounds nice. I learned today about dirby.com that will download YouTube video into MP3 files. Some of those videos use source sound rather than live and I was going to download some tonight. (Ever notice how this thing called work interferes with really important stuff???)

I have a few files on my iPhone here. Lemme see if I can grab them off and upload 'em someplace.

Thank you for posting the audio files. The Dogfight Newsreel just shows up as Chief Joseph again. Would you mind reposting and including the other tracks like "Westward", "Yosemite" and "New Invention"?

I wish I could find the first song with the pilgrims singing. I remember some of the lyrics go: "It's land-ho, me hearties..." I LOVE that entire song!

An FYI - there's a really nice little (free) software program called MP3MyMP3 that will record anything that's going thru your sound card or microphone. Works well.

It's even got a scheduler if you want to record something at a specific time if you're away from your computer.

I completely missed this alert for this reply till just now. Sorry! Here's an updated list with the correct link for the Dogfight Newsreel:

American Adventure - Mayflower Instrumental
American Adventure - Two Brothers
American Adventure - Chief Joseph Instrumental
American Adventure - Dogfight Newsreel
American Adventure - End Song - Golden Dreams

American Adventure - Full Show

These are the only tracks I have for American Adventure so far. I'll go grab the others. I think I know where I've seen them.
