Soooo, Who is going on from last night? Our coverage was bumped because the Bearcats were playing on Fox.

Fantasia & Diana (if I remember correctly...I was paying more attention to MAGIC than TV ).

two good choices, though I am guessing that some of these people can still make it? there are 4 rounds of 8 people, where 2 from each round gets to go on. thatis only 8 total of the 12 that make it to the finals.... and I though that Ryan Seacreast said something about we could vote ANYONE from any round though? I missed the first 5 mintues of the show talking to my mom on the phone....

The two best performers won last night.

What shocks me is that the public actually voted for them!
Maybe there is hope for this show this season!

Yes, maybe the two best performers, but not the two best singers. I think I can honestly say the, last year, the three best singers made the final 3. Of that three, I would say, at that time, that they were not the best 'performers'.

Is it me, or do these people tonight somewhat, stink? :lookaroun

OH Babe, they stunk, didn't they! The best two performers from tonight would have been cut last week.

I think the Hawaiian gal, Camile Velasco, was the best tonight but even she wasn't as good as Katie Webber or Matthew Metzger from last week.

I don't know who is picking the songs for these kids to sing but they were putting me to sleep tonight...I hope next week's kids learned something from tonight and pick some upbeat tunes.

I wonder how they determined the groups. It doesn't seem quite fair that someone with talent gets cut simply because the competition was stiffer in his/her group. I could've won tonight's competition singing "Runaround Sue." (OK, so I won a Karaoke competition once)

Is this available on video?

This was, without a doubt, the WORST group of 8 I've seen on this show. That being said, I'll go for Matt and the Hawaiian girl. She looked scared to me, so if she gets through, she'll need to work on her nerves. The Roman brothers were ghastly.

 I was sad to see the brothers do so bad! I loved their audition. I was just SO shocked by how bad they were! :hurl:

I was flipping back and forth especially after the first couple of terrible songs.

The only ones I thought were half decent were the last one and the one that squated for her entire song (I can't even remember the name of the song I was so uninterested).

NOBODY excited me tonight. I was sorely disappointed.

I ended up voting for Camille because I think she has a lot more potential.

Worst group at this stage since the show began. :hurl:

I thought that the football guy and Camille were the best and that is not saying alot.

Camille and the red head gal were good, no one else was exciting. at all. hopefully, next week will be better. I fast forwarded a TON of stuff from last night, it only took me 18 minutes to watch the hour show. I though I was going to cry when the suspender girl butchered Norah Jones....

It was not only GHASTLY, but ABYSMAL as well! :hurl:

Last night's show was PROOF that they made a mistake and put the WRONG ROOM of people through, as we suspected from the first night!! It was clear they made the wrong announcement in the wrong room!!! :hammer:

Oh well....next week's group doesn't look too promising either!

It just might be an "all-female" Top Ten as the judges suggested earlier. Now they just have to find 8 more girls who can carry a tune.

Talk about the decline of American culture!!! Can you imagine the people who were turned down seeing what actually made it through last night?!?!?!

It was actually embarrassing...and only the judges can be held accountable for letting those people through!!!

I think the judges were even a bit upset at themselves, Randy kept saying how they made mistakes, etc. I really do hope that SOMEONE in the next group stands out as a really good singer....

Looks like it is Camille and Matt going on through. So much for the all-female top ten. I fully expect none of the week two performers to be asked back for the wildcard show. Okay, maybe the redhead. Little partial to red heads (I am one).

I was incredibly frusterated with the results last night. The red headed gal was the best in the group, by far. Camille does have potential, but she was NOT as good. Matt was so off key last night, I was so amazed at why he was picked.

For next week, Amy Adams, Charly Lowry, and Jonah Moananu compete with the others, should be a better round. I don't recall seeing to of the performers before though.

I thought Matt was on key, he just sang a song that had little emotion. I think the judges at this point are looking for songs that challenge the individuals voice and that 'jump out' from the ordinary.

oops, I think I said that wrong. he was ok and in tune on tuesday night, but wednesday night when he sang after he found out he was moving on, he was flat and way off key then.

and the song selections again were not thrilling. everyone seemed to take the safe road. boooooring. :snore:
