Am I the only one that thinks Limited Time Magic is the lamest promo ever?

I'm thinking this might even rival the birthday cake castle disaster. Were these 2 promos concocted by the same genius? Can't wait to see what they come up with next. Any thoughts?

pcaudill, I agree. A trolley show? Really? That's what's you're calling Limited Time Magic? The Friday the 13th villains thing was cool but we got one coming up next week and haven't heard a peep. Too close to Christmas? Ok, I can see that but I expected a weekly carrot. Seems very haphazard and unorganized to me.

I actually like some of the Limited Time Magic events that they did this year, but I agree, it isn't the best promotion, and it isn't the worst.

The worst had to be "Let the Memories Begin".

Why so much hate on the 25th Anniversary Birthday Cake?

Is the Limited Time Magic promo done at the end of the year? Or does this go through all next year too since we haven't heard of the new promo??

I never heard of it, so I looked it up and came to the conclusion: Boy this is lame. I don't think it's wise to title a promotion with a restrictive word like "Limited." You might as well say "Caged in", "tied up", "finite" or "set boundaries."

It's not the lamest promo. The way it was executed was lame. The idea had plenty of potential.

It ended up being meet and greets, dance parties and merchandise drives.

I was in WDW for 11 days in October and completely forgot about LTM. And not once did I notice what it was when I was there. I still don't know what it was. Lame and cheap execution. It's no wonder they didn't make sure every guest who walks through the gates knows what the LTM is during their visit.

I'm not so sure. Remember the "release the goat" promo from this summer? I didn't get it, it was odd, and just flat out awful.

I believe Disney will be value Imagineering the next promo and calling it Limbo Time Magic. All the already premade signage will just be colored over with black Sharpies by diligent cast members with a sticker containing the letters BO to adhere after the LIM. To celebrate the new promo cast members will be walking around in groups of 4 carrying limbo sticks while one has a standard 80's style "boom-box" with the Limbo Song repeatedly played sung by former Disney Channel star Demi Lovato. All cast members will be required to wear Hawaiian style shirts with jerk sauce stains upon them for that Caribbean flavor. Cast members will be forcing guests to limbo for Fastpasses due to the fact all Fastpasses will be gone long before the parks open due to MM+.

The best times of our lives at the Disney Parks?

"Either you loved it or you hated it" said my Keys to the Kingdom tour guide.
It caused me to almost die of laughter as tears streamed down my face when I got my first good look. My friends almost had to carry me by my elbows for a while because the laughter was racking my body causing an inability to move. Is that love or hate?

"So, Philip..... about the Space Mountain refurb..."

Explain please. I don't understand this at all.

For me the crucial flaw of Limited Time Magic meant that by default only a very limited amount of guests ever got to see any particular magical offering.

And no, the ever changing events didn't portray a sense of vibrancy. Merely slight annoyance that limited offerings are no good for anybody but locals or whomever happens to be in the parks that week.

Also, if I have to book rides and meals six months in advance, how could I possibly make it to an event I would like to attend if that's only announced two weeks in advance?
