I beg you're pardon ? This was NOT posted to start an argument ! I'm from England, don't get to go to Disney very often and love the world. I'm going on my honeymoon in September and after that wont be able to afford a trip for many years due to the fact that i will have a mortgage with my wife !

I want to collect as many things from Disney as i can for the memories. I'm also planning on collecting the Sorcerers cards too. The fact this thread has got to this stage is by other people, i posted a question and people have responded to it. If i wanted to cause an argument i would keep replying to fuel the debate but if you check, i have not.

I'm sorry.... I must have been rattled by what was said. I do apologize. It seemed to me a hot topic and sometimes those are started to get people riled up.

Don't worry about it. :D Arguments get started by comments like that that from that from person. Anyone that wants to fight about this is obviously dealing with other issues than just this. :)

I hope you aren't referring to me because I've never started an argument prior to this one.

I can see where you were coming from. Not saying the OP wanted to start an argument, but whenever you have a poll about a topic like this, you have to know it could get interesting. They flat out asked if we thought they were a bad person.

Thank you. I didn't mean to get my bit*h on... but, for YEARS, I wanted to go on Soaring more than once (I didn't know about the GAP then) and I was always frustrated by not being able to because they would sell out prior to my being able to get another fast pass. I know that I shouldn't complain because I did go on once, but it's my favorite and I'd like to do it more than once.... and I never could. Hearing someone ask if it's ok to take one they knew they weren't going to use was upsetting for big rides. What upset me MORE was people saying that people should just wait for 2 hours... that was UNREASONABLE. The first person might have been actually curious, but people saying that they didn't care, and it wasn't their responsibility, really upset me. We all have to look out for everyone! :)

lol, kinda sounded like you had to take out a loan to buy her.

I know what you were saying, but that was funny. :)

We arrived at Epcot around 3pm or so on March 10th. We were beyond opening because my daughter cheered around 11am and the monorails were down when we got to the TTC center. of course all FP's were gone for Soarin and Test Track by then. My wife and daughter simply waited until IllumiNations to go ride them and they waited in the stand by lines.

They managed to survive and nobody lost any sleep. If people can't get to park opening or choose not to, then they run the risk of not being able to get a FP.

This is us. My husband and I go to Disney every 3-4 months. I have been on Soarin once during EMH. We have never been on TSMM. We do not want to get up early or hit the park at opening. We know we most likely will not get FPs and we do not want to wait on line for 90+ minutes. It is our choice and we are fine with it. I see what everyone is saying but I also do not think that the amount of people taking FPs for scrapbooking will make a big dent in the amount of available FPs. But there are some great suggestions in this thread for obtaining a FP for souvenir purposes without taking an actual FP.

It sometimes happens that we will get FPs for a ride and then for some reason don't get back to it. We don't get a FP intentionally for keeping one tho.
