It's such a bummer to me that this will be occupying precious real estate at USH. IMO it looks jaw-droppingly terrible. The IP has so much potential and yet this is the ride they decided to build?

Costcos had an 11(!) month pass for a little while at $149. Has 35 more available days than the California Neighbor Pass for the same price

I hope it has all the cool animated characters on the buildings like Tokyo has.
I think it will, although I am kind of concerned about long-term maintenance. I've visited SNW in Japan twice, once right after opening and again about 7 months later and there was a noticeable difference in show quality with the outdoor characters. A couple things weren't moving, some things were missing and others were in B-mode and not functioning like they were at opening. And this is in show quality-conscious Japan after less than a year.

You'd think they would plan for this stuff when designing, but...

I wonder if it just comes from bad engineering or contractors cutting corners when weather proofing those characters. Maybe water got into the mechanism that moves them around? They are probably overly engineered just like Disney does.

Are Transformers and The Mummy at USH long for this world? Putting a DK coaster in that area with the jungle theme would make sense and be the perfect transition between Super Nintendo land proper and Jurassic World. We’d lose the generic buildings for real placemaking. Of course I’d prefer additions and not replacements but I’d sign off on this.
