Knott's Bear-y Tales was far superior then KotD or VotIR.

The imagineer who did Bear-y Tales was world class, and created not just a great visual story, but a sound track that complemented and improved the experience, and loved by all age groups.

You mean Rolly Crump? I thought Bear-y Tales was known as Rolly’s Folly?

Just kidding. Just wanted to say Rolly’s Folly.

That is up to you, just be aware that a vaccine is extraordinarily unlikely, just remember there has NEVER been a successful vaccine for a CoronaVirus.

Now if you are in the vulnerable population, I understand it, but if you are in the majority that even if they get COVID the symptoms will be very mild, taking the very minor risk is better than hiding in fear in our house for the rest of our lives and that is what waiting for vaccine will be.
I am asthmatic so getting corona would possibly be deadly for me for my asthma is really bad. I was born with it. I was born premature so my lungs were not fully developed. Had it all my life. And will have it when I die so that is why I am being extra cautious.

Except it's a crapshoot on whether you get mild or not. Chances are you will be fine, statistically speaking but on the other hand surviving with lingering effects of heart, lung and or kidney damage doesn't sound worth it. Oh, and let's not forget the stroke risk since this illness essentially causes blood clotting. It's not a minor risk.

That's amazing, am a huge fan if Icees! I also love Boysenberry Punch, if it's anything like both of these it would be a win.
It is like Boysenberry Punch with vanilla soft serve. The problem is they give you a paper straw which disintegrates as you try to drink with it.

For those that haven't heard, they have extended the event:

That's two additional weekends with extended hours. This also means that it is highly unlikely that theme parks will be reopening in California before mid August.

Sounds like it has been a success. They are smart enough to do it the rest of the summer.

I don't think the additional weekends are going to be as successful. Only reason the initial days sold out is because Vloggers are desperate for any theme park content the $25 a ticket was a godsend but now that they have done it, they will be moving on to the next thing.

Disagree. I went Sunday, and the vast majority looked like Average Joe's.

One comment I heard regularly was how nice it was to do something normal. Enjoying light entertainment (The state has vetoed multiple things. Needs to be one or two people, practicing Social distancing, etc), sitting at tables, enjoying food items, and the park's atmosphere.

So we shall see if they can get the 3,000 or so guests a day that creates sellouts.

I don't know that it will sell out with the extended hours, but it will still be successful, especially if they make a few tweaks to reduce the lines at the food booths like offering other booths selling just drinks.

if the info about 45 minute wait lines for food items is true i really do not see how enjoyable can be especially since the event is only for a few hours. They really need to either maintain shorter food lines so it doesn't start creating issues or keep number of tickets sold to a minimum. Is the area being used for the festival of good size? Calico area in Knotts is not extremely large and some of those walkways are pretty narrow. The only really spacious area is where the open stage is

There was no issue with walkways being crowded. There were plenty of tables. I just thought they could have handed out food faster. They were as slow as a regular day. It was no faster than DCA does their food festivals. However, we did get our five items easily during the event.
