Cedar Fair Parks Begin Announcing Reopening Dates
www.themeparkinsider.com
Works for me, although won't be before July 11th that I would be going anyway, due to other places I will be.I expect a Knott's announcement very shortly, and that date will be in early July with some of the first days being SP's only.

With Disneyland suspending AP sales and renewals, if Knotts doesn’t do the same with its SPs I’m considering getting an SP for Knotts. $101 for the remainder of 2020 and all of 2021 is a huge deal
Other parks around the same price point are still selling passes, so I don't think this will be an issue. With Disneyland suspending AP sales and renewals, if Knotts doesn’t do the same with its SPs I’m considering getting an SP for Knotts. $101 for the remainder of 2020 and all of 2021 is a huge deal
Wait, did Knott's know something none of us did when they said last year of the Hanging would be the last year? LOLI was just thinking, if there was a "Hanging" at Halloween Haunt this year.
How would they handle the COVID-19 situation?
And the nuclear question how would they handle the Protests and the separate Looting/Arson, etc.
I am not looking for answers, just stating that the script would have to be very carefully written.
Look to add the drink plan, and the meal plan, great deal for 18 months of use. Also parking if needed. And if you travel, go for the Platinum, it is only a few dollars difference, since the platinum includes parking.
You have a couple of NorCal.
Lisa and I are going to Cedar Point and Kings Island in August, and in June of 2021, CP, KI, Dorney Park, and CGA.
We clearly will be getting our moneys worth. Heck, in the Meal Plan, I think we already did it in the first 2+ months, if you think a meal is about $8 a piece.
A season pass with both dining and drink plans comes to almost $300. Thats a really good deal and saves a lot of money in the parks in terms of buying food if you're sticking to the places that participate in the plans

But you have valid points, how would they handle this mess and it would have to be very careful.
I like days where I can go early enough and stay late enough to have three meals in the park, then I can eat two meals and enjoy a place not on the plan.A season pass with both dining and drink plans comes to almost $300. Personally I like the Trip tip and they give you A LOT.Especially if you live close enough to stop by and grab dinner. They do offer To Go Boxes.
The Chicken and Ribs Combo with a side can easily feed two.

Everything so far, based on Knott's associates, is moving forward including backstage work. Are we still assuming Haunt is happening this year?
Usually we'd have had some sort of announcement, but both Knotts and Universal have been rather quiet with any details. I imagine they're trying to find a way to make it happen, but I can't see how much of a profit they can wring with all of the precautions they'll have to take. Capacity will have to be cut in half at the very least, as that place can get incredibly packed (waiting at the end of Ghost Town for the event to start is such a nightmare that I rarely do it anymore) and the mazes themselves can quickly become a conga line. And if capacity is cut, do you also cut down on the number of mazes? I'm wondering about the whole thing.
