What’s the point of knocking Iron Reef? It’s a good ride that has reliability and loading issues. It’s quite enjoyable. Beary Tales and Dinosaur will never return. If they ever close Iron Reef, nothing will fill the space forever. Then you’ll lament how Iron Reef was so terrific after its gone. It’ll keep getting worse and worse. Something is better than nothing. Iron Reef is pretty good.
no. Iron reef is not a good "ride" at all. what was in that building before was more creative, interactive, and more fun than the horrible screen shooter that is in there now.

Nothing was in there for more than 10 years. You liked nothing? That figures.
I am talking about both Kingdom of The Dinsoaurs(in which the ride itself was in the building for 10 years left to rot but it was not empty as you snarkily pointed out if you care to do some research) and Knott's Berry Tales. Both were fantasitc and charming and entertaining dark rides which were more magical than the video game fiasco they have in there now. Screen, shoot, move to next screen and shoot, rinse and repeat. Iron Reef was made for dummies.

Yes, I looked it up. Kingdom of Dinosaurs was closed in 2004 and left to rot, but it was nothing because the ride will never open again. How can it be magical. It closed because of unpopularity. Iron Reef is a very fun ride that is quickly over with the action on the screens. Dinosaur was a long slog.

“This dark ride first took riders past a fairy-tale like plot set in the Roaring 20's with a Bear Family named, Raz, Boysen, Girlsen, Elder, and Flapper Bear-y on a journey to the fair while being in contact with a pie thief named Crafty Coyote and Other Animals from the Fantasy Scenes. It later was revamped with a dinosaur theme in 1987 (While Bear-y Tales moved to the Peanuts Playhouse after Kingdom of the Dinosaurs opened to be renamed Bear-y Tales Funhouse until 1997)that took riders back in time to the Pre-Historic Times which would be permanently closed on December 23, 2004 due to aging parts and lack of popularity. The ride building suffered vandalism from park employees sometime after closing, with several set pieces and animatronics damaged. Some of the animatronics, set pieces and props went on to be reused throughout the park, including the Timber Mountain Log Ride as well as several Halloween Haunt mazes and scare zones. The ride building was finally gutted of all ride equipment (including ride vehicles and track), set pieces, props and animatronics in July 2014 to make way for the new interactive 4-D dark ride Voyage to the Iron Reef, which opened Spring 2015.”

I bet you are someone who liked the transformer films too. KINGDOM was fun, entertaining, and educational and had some fun AA's. It had a charm to it. And was magical. Same with BERRY TALES. Iron Reef is just a souless, boring video game for kids with low attention spans that can't use their imaginations. That ride doesn't spark imaginations like the other 2 rides. If KINGDOM received a refurb with updated AA's it would still be around today. The Knott's family didn't take care of the ride. There is no defense for Iron Reef nor is it fun. It's the K-Mart version of Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters.

I bet you know what I like. I HATE TRANSFORMERS. Whatever.

We all have our terrific memories of old attractions. RIP. They’re gone. This doesn’t take away from Iron Reef. Cedar Fair can’t afford Disney quality attractions. Sorry, that’s a terrible comparison.

There is nothing to take away from Iron Reef because Iron Reef brings nothing to the table. It is one of those shooter rides you see in India Theme Parks(look up ghostbusters and Avenger rides in Dubai) brought to the USA.

Dubai is not in India. I looked them up. They’re slightly better than Iron Reef. Still, Iron Reef isn’t bad for Knott’s. It’s comparable to Ninjago in Legoland in Carlsbad. Look Ninjago up. It’s pretty good for Legoland. These are second tier parks. They will never be comparable to Disney or Universal.

Well my mistake for saying they were indian. My point was they are very "poor man's" rides. I would rather spend the day in Knott's than Universal. Knott's has better ride and has amazing charm and heart. Ghost Town alone is better than Universal

You must hate Knott’s since you hate Iron Reef so much and you say how much better is Buzz Lightyear. Please make up your mind. Sure, they are poor man’s ride, but I ENJOYED THEM unlike you. Whatever.

You are not making any sense. I love Knott's. Maybe as much if not more than Disneyland. But I hate Iron Reef. It is a horrible "ride"

Yes
Leave the Transformers films out of this discussion please. It's a guilty pleasure.

Astro Blasters sucks. Iron Reef is disappointing but at least it didn't cost as much.

Hey you’re not making sense. One more time. You compared Iron Reef to Buzz Lightyear and compared Iron Reef to dead attractions as being better. You said you love Knott’s yet compared Knott’s to Dubai parks. None of this makes sense.

You got it all wrong. I love Knott's. I loved Kingdom of the Dinosaurs. I liked Berry Tales. Iron Reef is horrible and not worthing of being in the park let alome the same building that once held those cherised attractions. Iron Reef is a pimple on the beautiful face that is Knott's Berry Farm.

And I clearly said Iron Reef is a poor man's Buzzlight Year. Meaning it is not even as fun, creative, as Astro Blasters which I do enjoy.astro blasters is not really a great ride. But it is fun. It is how you do a shooter ride. Iron Reef cant even measure up to or reach the "ehh its ok" ness level of Astro Blasters.
