I think that's a real shame since kids and teenagers need freedom and things to do instead of being cooped up in a house.

I know they've been having fights break out, though, so I understand why.

Just a shame it has had to come to this, but it's more a reflection of societal issues it seems.
I agree it's a shame it has come to this. IMO it all could have been avoided if parks were as strict as Cedar Point was last season. There were a lot of people kicked out of the park just for having their phones out on a ride. Start making examples of people who break the rules and it would probably go a long way to ending a lot these issues

In Knott's defense, the problem last summer was started by a post on instagram for all these kids to show up at Knotts for a fight. I was there that night and witnessed the mob and some of the fights. Those kids purposely started a stampede that could have injured park guests.

Has anyone seen Calle Celebración yet? What did you think? And now that the Log Ride has finally reopened (at least according to the app) how does it look? Thanks!

Fiesta Village is open minus Montazooma's Revenge. The area looks great with the new restaurant and lots of statues. The hot dog place now serves tacos. There is still a fries place. Jaguar's pyramid now has fire and smoke effects. The old arcade is more seating. You can make your own burrito in the new restaurant. More temporary stages added. Summer nights has started with Hiatus and Krazy Kurt playing tonight. I didn't get to see the new parade in Fiesta Village. I'll get pictures next time. I can't post pictures from my phone.

The log ride looks great.
Nice! Can’t wait for my son to hit 48 inches so we can go to Knotts.
When I was about five my family went to Knotts. I remember going on the log ride with my Dad, my first time on a thrill ride. That visit is the reason I'm writing on this site today and I'm excited that you'll soon get that experience with your son!

Just saw Called Celebration. It comes in as a parade and splits into three stages throughout the land. It is all traditional Mexican dancing with bird puppets. The pyramid has projection mapping and fireworks. The top layer lights up in fire. It is a fun 15 minute street show.
